  • Great ;] ... and nice chicks ;D

  • simply spine chilling ,Irish or not!

  • awesome!!

  • Feck, I just LOVE that "wave" they do around the 3 minute mark. It's absolutely the most amazing and impressive thing I've seen in dancing so far.

  • amazing

  • Didn't know Nicole Kidman could dance so well.

  • You're so right, I always thought she looked like her twin!

  • Is every person in that group Irish?

  • but its good

  • sounds like the twelve

  • makes me proud to be Irish.

  • i wish i could learn this....

  • me too....

    *starts crying*

  • Go for it, guys!

  • This group and Michael are awesome!

  • Don't worry, I think he was kidding!

  • Not even real...you can totally tell it's Claymation®.

  • Cool. I very like Riverdance=)

  • unsurpassable

  • this guy is full of himself

  • hes just getting into charecter!

  • i know the guy. not full of himself. i live near his house in ireland. such a nice guy.

  • My aunt went to school with him, and she said that he was kind of known as a nerd. We both agreed how cool it is that he's now world famous and rich...haha to all those bullies at his high school!

  • Absolutely LOVE this video. :)

  • I am the 6th one from the right =)

  • really? you're not BSing?

  • this is Riverdance, not Lord of the Dance. and for anyone who thinks this is 'riverdancing', it's Irish Dancing.

  • holy ****

    amazing

  • I can't imagine how much time and effort and patience and stress fractures have to go in into making a beautiful piece like this. Bravo, Riverdance. Bravo.

  • Chad Johnson did it better!

  • SAW THIS TWICE WITH OUT THE ASSHOLE she was great without him and the replacement was jusy as good

  • 8 hours worth of practice everyday for 3 minutes and 54 seconds!

  • awesun

  • He is good.

  • theyre good but michael needs a better outfit... its so nerdy

  • actually this dance is "home in the heartland". it's the last dance of the original show before the reprise of "riverdance"

  • It's awesome. I've never try it, but it looks very difficult.

  • It is...but it's so much fun! Once you learn the steps it's actually harder to dance slower, because gravity and everything makes you want to put your feet down!

  • I love being Irish.I remeber watching that and to everyone out there it aint called Irish tap it's called Irish danceing and them dancer's whould be brilliant for clearing out a minefeild

  • being a Malaysian, i think i would still know the difference between River Dance and Tap Dancing. its by the music, ( I think) :)

there are few Irish Pubs here in Kuala Lumpur which organises River dance, every now so often :)

  • Close...it's by not only the music but the style of dancing. But you can really do it do any style of music on your own, as I do when I'm practicing, just as you can tap dance to Celtic music if you wish.

  • But it's called Irish stepdancing, by the way, not River Dance, but don't worry, that's a common mistake! ;)

  • Who on earth calls it "Irish Stepdancing"?

    It's just Irish Dancing lol

  • Um...everyone I know.

  • You must only know strange people I guess. lol

    Definitely called "Irish Dancing"

  • Um, before you go insulting people, you may want to look it up. A step dance is a dance where the main focus is the feet. It is called Irish step dance in many parts of the world.

  • I'm not saying your wrong, by the way. It can be called Irish dance, Irish step dance, etc. Just please don't say that I only know strange people. Just because one part of the world calls it Irish dance that doesn't mean that other parts of the world don't call it Irish step dance.

  • not to be mean or anything, but Riverdance is not anywhere near tap

you can be a good tapdancer in just a few years, but to be a good Riverdancer, like jean Butler or Colin Dunne, you have be dedicated for your entire life

it takes immense control of your foot muscles and that does not come easily

  • Defygravity, thanks so much for making that point. I hate it when people say, "irish tap". There's no such thing!!!!!!!

  • you're welcome

and i know, it bugs the heck outta me. :]

  • Unfortunatly many people, including me, know this as "Irish tap," so I that's what I put for the keywords. Thanks though, I won't make that mistake again. :)

  • oh it's ok if you didn't know it like that. :]

some people just get it mixed up on purpose....

  • I have NEVER in my life heard anyone call it "Irish Tap" lol

  • I have a friend from Ireland who took Irish step dancing and she says over there (it could be specific to where she lived in Ireland) they always called it Irish tap.

  • i miss Michael so much...i watched all his performances
