wow, listening to ur videos is pretty interesting stuff, nice eye openers, great job, i guess this has to be said, the bible isnt all rainbows after floods (mass global genocide might be a preferred way of saying it by you)
its amazing how many christians have not read the bible they hold so dear
And not too much time after "god" gave mosses, and the Israelites the commandments (Exodus 20:2--17). One of which contradicts their actions commanded by "god"; "You shall not murder."... It is sad that the people who believe in this mythology do not even read the book to see that it is not consistent(contradicting). Yet they claim to thrust it.
Which contradictions? To start, there is: Exodus 20:2—17, but I can list hundreds, perhaps thousands of contradictions. I even made I small response video listing about five of them(both inside, and outside of the bible)
The fictional god character who gave the Israelites the commandments(Exodus 20:2-17) later contradicts itself by commanding the Israelites to kill everything in Amalek. The god character commands them to kill the Amalekites:(slay both man and woman, infant and suckling), along with the Amalekites livestock(ox and sheep, camel and ass) as well. Which is found here: 1 Samuel 15:2-3, but I entreat you to read the whole chapter(1 Samuel 15) for context. ;O)
There is nothing to figure out. I have read it(perhaps you should as well), and I clearly understand the reason behind the fictional god characters command to slaughter the innocent. Yet, the fact remains that is a clear contradiction among thousands. ;O)
The Bible says that God is the same today, yesterday, and forever. He just does not change; and, the Bible tells us that there is something that our God cannot do - it is impossible for Him to lie. Keep those things in mind while you read this. Remember, God does not change and He cannot lie.
Well no; as the fictional god character was the first to lie in Gen 2:17. And the fictional serpent character was the first to speak the truth to Eve in/at: Gen 3:4-5. Which is later confirmed by the god character itself at Gen 3:22. Think about it. ;O)
P.S.
And I entreat you to read chapters 1-3, or the whole book of Genesis to confirm the context for yourself.
You have not tried to talk; you have spouted horrid beliefs and ideas that are disgusting and immoral. "and you call yourself a woman" what the fuck does that mean?
I do not want to talk to anybody who thinks:
1)homosexuals should be killed
2)adulterers should be killed
3)God hates
4)Jesus hates
5) all of these sick beliefs are what makes somebody a "good" person.
You're disgusting. THAT is why I don't want to "talk" with you - I only talk to sane, rational people whenever I can help it.
If you ever get serious, look me up, if not then don't bother, your a colossal waste of time because are self deceived and will not reflect in thought and concepts.
No, not truth, just whackos that have no serious bone in their body, Jesus Commands me to wipe my feet of these time wasters and hagglers and let them die in their sins.
"No, not truth, just whackos that have no serious bone in their body, Jesus Commands me to wipe my feet of these time wasters and hagglers and let them die in their sins."
Translation: "I've totally lost the debate and have nothing more intelligent to say, so I'll just spout some generalized moronic insult and sulk away licking my wounds, hoping I have retained a shred of dignity.")
You haven't. You never had any dignity to begin with.
First the IQ, then the "fat mouth" comment, and now "whackos"? Why all the ad hominems? I guess the saying: "The truth hurts" is pretty accurate.
P.S.
The fictional jesus character also says that he has "come not to send peace, but a sword.", and that he has come to break up families; as detailed in/at Matthew 10:34-37. Sad that you believe this nonsense, and still follow it.
Oh, I forgot to mention that the fictional Adam character lived 930 years; contrary to what the fictional god character said would happen if Adam would eat of the fruit in Gen 2:17. ;O)
fat mouth You are not getting upset are you? My intention was not to upset you. I only offer verifiable truth.
P.S.
Repent to whom? If you mean both the fictional god, and jesus characters found in the bible; then you might as well ask me to repent to Spiderman, or Zeus.
The hebrews were blood-thirsty, brutal assholes, there is no doubt about that. It is really sick that people still "worship" the god that those fuckers used to justify their genocidal behavior.
You are describing 2500 BC. Exactly who wouldn't be described that way then? Do you expect near cavemen to have Ombudsmen and Complaint Depts? It was a violent time and you look through 21st century eyeglasses at it.
But some of the great lessons in history are there too. Jonah and the whale is a great lesson about how you can't run away from your responsibilities. David and Bathsheba is a lesson about how even a great man can falter and how he deals with it when he realizes his mistake. One of the things I like about the OT is how it doesn't sanitize things, it portrays the faults of everyone, even the heroes and protagonists, in a stark full disclosure way. That is so different than most ancient texts.
Agreed, I just wish more people recognized that they were just humans and what they did was not right just because it's in the bible and it should be looked at critically like anything should.

Only if more Christians would weight the whole weight of Scripture in balance.
Me, 3500 years - They are DEAD!
Chopping off arms and letting them flop around is demented TORTURE. Not Biblical.

Where do you claim God Contradicted the Law given in Ex> 20.2-17

Hello Cabanas751Dunhill,
The fictional god character who gave the Israelites the commandments(Exodus 20:2-17) later contradicts itself by commanding the Israelites to kill everything in Amalek. The god character commands them to kill the Amalekites:(slay both man and woman, infant and suckling), along with the Amalekites livestock(ox and sheep, camel and ass) as well. That's not a contradiction. Think Hard, and discover why, and you may actually have learned to reason properly when you can figure that out.

There is nothing to figure out. I have read it(perhaps you should as well), and I clearly understand the reason behind the fictional god characters command to slaughter the innocent. Yet, the fact remains that is a clear contradiction among thousands. ;O)

I see you still have no serious bone in your body.
I've tried to talk, you refuse to be sincere / honest, and you call yourself a woman.
I'm going to bed, and if you like to get honest for a change and talk something out, then you know where to find me.
