Bravo, you have put a beautiful spotlight on the excellent nature of Miller's Crossing. In TRUE GRIT the Coen Brothers have produced one of the top five Westerns of all time...but for a comprehensive start-to-finish "live in this world" enjoyment (cinematography, concepts, music, mood), MILLER'S CROSSING must remain my own favorite by a hair's breadth.
