16 years ago I test drove a Corrado VR6 Storm and my wife (then girlfriend) persuaded me to buy a Golf VR6 instead.

2 years ago I drove past a rusty, faded pink (red/blackberry?) Corrado on the motorway and something clickedin my memory. I spent several days looking at them again on youtube, including this video.

5 days ago I finally bought a Corrado VR6.

4 hours ago I realised I'd wasted 16 years of driving other cars. I simply love it. Superb cars.

oh btw dundee dub, im from dundee i just realised there. where you from and what you got? i drive the peuter grey scirocco witha bit primer on the back of it, 16V back lights and 5 spoke alloys and a scorpion exhaust on the back (lowered 40mm) you might have seen it, only a few left here. live in the hilltown, you may have seen it if u live here coz its the only one thats still going like new as im a mechanic. VR6 in the hole pulling about 200 bhp.

I'm out in Invergowrie now, have a Vento VR6 and a mk2 Jetta thats getting the engine and running gear from the Vento. Not really been into my cars for the past while as been running my own business, now i've shut that down I have the summer to get the conversion and a few other bits done. Have always wanted a VR6 Sirrocco, have played with the idea but don't have the skills yet to get it right. Will keep an eye out for you

vr6 in a scirocco is more insane as less weight :P i know coz i have one :P not actually raced a raddo with it tho but it does tip the scales at over 100kg less
