based on ur pics your hair seemed to have loc'd very quickly...wats the remedy? lol have curly long black hair, and im and about 5 months into locing my hair but only some sections of my hair is locing...what should i do?

@TheAweet I would say wash regularly, limit your products to just your shampoo, maybe conditioner (although I never used conditioner) and your moisturize, make sure not to over do it, and don't bother them. Let them do their own thing. If you have a looser curl pattern then you may have to interlock them so that your hair holds better.

@nappsgalore Actually, my hair was already curled. I just took a large enough head band and created like a really big pony and a little hump in the front. The curls just to happened to hang in a way that made it looked like I pinned them that way.

Your hair was crazy long when you started your journey, do you think it helped in retwisting and maintenance compared to if your hair was only inches from your scalp?!

@sjeanrich Thanks so much! I do think that the length especially helped when I experienced the shrinkage. I also think that starting with the two strand twists helped me also because they stayed in pretty well after washing.
