@jmelkis well i have to fix a few things on it such as a tcc solenoid and some exterior/interior flaws so it would sell, then the thing is its under my dad's name so he is the that gets to sell it im trying really hard to convince him to buy a sierra for me n bro to drive
Just a quick tip, if you want to restore the exterior plastics next time you do a detail on eone like that. Go pick you up a checp heat gun from you local home depot or lowes or other supply store... run the heat gun over the plastics and no kidding it restores them to like new appearance, and the look lasts several months before it needs to be redone.
I have a 2001 xterra myself and I did mine, looks great! Good job on the detail!
Great job.I just recently purchased an Xterra and love it, have not had a chance to wax it yet because of the cold weather but the black paint will shine like new when I spend all day cleaning it! Again, great job.
looks really nice man. My x was in terrible condition when i bought it.
It looked nice on the outside, but the inside had ciggarette cartons hidden everywhere, the cover on the compartment was ripped off, no sun visors (ripped off) and after a diagnostic at nissan it showed the fluids (save for oil) hadnt been changed in its entire life.
but i fixed everything and it is now in near mint condition with a Cold air intake, exhaust, Baja mud tires and a 2 inch lift. \m/
I would love to own one of these!!!! It's my Favorite SUV out there. Solid, reliable, and will last me years to come!!! Only problem would be gassing the bitch!!! Anyways, high-five on the, sweet color, reminds me of those mid 90's Grand Cherokees another SUV I love, and will probably get over the Xterra only because I'll be able to afford it more LOL
You did a good job. I had the chance to drive an Xterra when I was housesitting, and it was awesome. The owners didn't take too good of care of it, though, they let it get pretty dirty, so I cleaned it up. I understand exactly what you mean about Xterras. They are nice. They are made to get dirty, too. I read a lot about their design. Designed in the US, too. They were made to be cheaper than most SUVs, but actually more capable than compact SUVs.
well how i did it is I strapped 2 zip ties together and then threaded them through the holes where the clips were. there were some little metal loops attached to the fabric and metal in the back and i just threaded them through and then zipped them together and clipped the longer excess off with a pair of snips.
it was just a "redneck repair". I had some zip ties lying around in the garage but it made a good difference. if you watch the video of this Xterra before it got a detail, you will see what the back of the seat looked like before hand!
It's a great car.

You know how to fix the bumpers? Buy Penetrol at home depot. Apply it with a rag that doesn't have fibers, in the shade. it comes out amazing

Xterra are cool. But I personally would get a pathfinder with the optional v8 :)

they make some stuff for the bumpers that make them look new again, or a little tire shine on a rag will do.
