  • what if i say I saw on tv?

  • Thank you. I know how to teach my kids now.

  • i love u ...tq

  • An 'OK' explanation but important points missed:1) we 'look at' things that are still but 'watch' things that move (You look at a picture but watch TV). 2) the main difference between 'look at' and 'see' isn't gaze duration but rather a difference between 'active' v 'passive' vision. We use 'see' in the passive sense to mean things 'come to our eyes', whereas 'look at' is active, i.e, you must concentrate and pay attention. You should really brush up on your knowledge before making these videos

  • Don't want to sound picky, but should there be a question mark after the question "Did you see that car(?)!! ?

  • Look is fast. See is longer because ti has to work with the mental process. Watch refers to the longest process.

I feel that see is longer because of the Catholic Church's selection of the word for some of its highest positions: The Holy See.

  • @santy573 Exactly, English doesn't have grammatical gender. English doesn't have grammatical cases like nominative, accusative etc. But still, the spelling is very irregular, especially compared to languages like Italian. And English has a large vocabulary and many phrasal verbs you have to learn if you don't know them. English grammar is rather easy, the most difficult part is the vocabulary.

  • great thank you very much

  • hello miss janie, correct me if i am wrong, but i think it's better to use (?) a question mark at the end of the phrase did you see that car! if you don't mind, but anyway i'm not so sure if i am correct... MORE power and GODBLESS... thanks for the tutorials i learned a lot... i'm hoping that you'd continue teaching people how to use the proper language... ^_^
