Too bad this is such an old video or everybody who doesn't know our pact would be thumbing you down! Do I get to hate on your videos too? You know I'd be awesome at it.
I've been looking at all these comments you've been leaving and thinking "who the heck is this person??" - but now I see who you are from stickam! Thanks for watching them all!
wow totally wasn't expecting that picture, hilarious. i used to be terribly afraid of the dark so i can relate to hank's pain. over the years i grew out of it tho :)
It's a combination of ongoing issues, which were not helped that particular night by something he saw on TV, plus his admission to me yesterday that "you know mommy, I'm really not that brave."
Aww. I asked because my son had some experiences that caused him to be afraid at night, and I brought him to a psychiatrist (he was around 10 or 11). The doctor said he would not rule out the supernatural, but also had a psychological answer. After a discussion we had, the "incidents" stopped. Sensitive children often are open to stuff adults aren't. I don't know if this makes sense to you. :)
Actually, it's perfectly reasonable. He wanted you to leave his door open, then you shut it as soon as you thought he wouldn't notice. Nothing wrong with that, but in his mind, you didn't honor your part of the deal.
Actually, the deal never was to keep it open all night long. I always told him I would shut it after he went to sleep and he never had a problem with it until now. So he's kinda the one who changed the deal. But what the hell - if it keeps him in his room, that's all I care about!
That was sweet Sukatra! Hey kids have different fears and phobias as they grow up ya'know, he's not any weirder than the rest of us! ciao bella Reynaldo with Love & Peace from San Francisco! Thanks for sharing!
I've got a photo of him sleeping in a bucket (only about six months ago) and video of him sleeping with his fire truck in bed with him. Weirdness abounds with this child and his sleeping habits.
The one good thing about this new deal is that it's a powerful incentive for him to stay in his room once I put him to bed, which we've been having a LOT of problems with lately. But still, when I came around the corner and saw that, I just thought "man, there are some strange things going on in that kid's head!!"
I hate this video

I like how he piled up the stuffed animals to keep the door open. He's clever!

He must be trusting me more, because tonight they're all spread out. Or it's a ruse to open the door even wider.

Thankfully my daughter, Avery, hasn't thought of that yet. lol :-)
