i always kinda of wanted to do this kind of hobby but im always worried that someone would think i would be a creeper or something especially if im in my car with a camera but who knows maybe ill just do it
I like this station... small (kinda reminds me of "good old" Station 51 from Emergency! in a way) I was wondering... are those Volvo trucks or perhaps E-One ? I am particularly interested because it looks like they have roll-up utility doors like most British and European trucks. Thanks for your time! ...Jeff
If you want busy go sit on sta.7 on 122nd or 45's on 172nd. you will most likely see a fire box too. And to pitts. Just like out there if you are really a fireman you know how things are prioritizes when your sent on a house fire compared to a hurt foot. Safer to move slow and deliberate
The Portland Fire & Rescue has a reputation of having fast response times, i don't get what your saying. I don't think in Pittsburgh they always respond within 30 seconds.
Hi. Yes, I know it's a little strange. I usually try to do busy stations ... otherwise it can be like waiting for paint to dry (I always bring a lot of reading material). There are a lot of vids of companies leaving stations, but hardly any where you can hear the dispatch come in first in real time, so I thought it would be fun to make some. I've been on vac, and had some free time to do it. I work in the airline industry, but have followed several fire depts as a hobby since the '70s.
