Anyone who shoots like this is either boradcast industry or has studie dit veryyyy well You are very talented trock... Anyone one who shoots these angles knows cinematography and is by default a failfan...
Wish I could find and choose good music to go with the videos. You must have a lot of songs that you listen to to match up with along with good editing of the video.
We liked this video, especially the very last part where the train stops and moves back and forth slightly, the wheels and brakes are clearly visible.
AWESOME video. My 2 yr old son and I both absolutely love all 3 you have done so far. Had to subscribe to catch what you do next. Thanks and keep up the great work!!
Awsesome video Railroading is my life my Dad has been railroading for over 30 years and im following the same foot steps. Santa Fe the good old day's love my job....
I really like these videos. Good music and great trains. There are plenty of straight-forward videos of trains, good in their own right, but these videos are extremely atmostpheric and the mix of music and train-sounds adds a whole new dimension. Excellent!
Very clever editing I am sure but not my idea of a railroad video I am afraid. Having said that it would be a funny old world if we all agreed about everything
If I play a music video I dont expect to hear the roar of diesels so why play music on train vids. Sorry I just switch it off which is a shame cos it is a good video.
Watch it again, You will see that the words will match the clip. Like "To think if i might no see those eyes..." When the rare local regional rolls by, i think he did a great job on both videos and looking forward for more. So not saying your opinion is bad but you have to understand that in this video he matched the lyrics and tempo perfect with his train clips. Rock on fellow foamer!
Love to have you come to Memphis and film trains crossing the Harahan and Frisco bridges that cross into Arkansas across the Mississippi River. I'm sure you could get plenty action and great film from there and Kentucky Street, near the old CN/IC diamond that leads into Memphis Central Station. Keep up the great work, and maybe, possiblly sneak in Tehatchepi video? Only got to see it 1 time when I was trucking there in 1996.
Movie is great. I like how a car from a very small short line near Chicago has made it all the way to California (Elgin, Joliet and Eastern or The J).
When watching the video, start the song," Venice Queen", by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers at 10 seconds. The song works out perefect with the work done by Trickholmes. Awesome video and can't wait to you make a 3rd!
No, there is California Northern which has mostly GP15-1's and GP38-2's. They have 2 SD40R's. C&A RR have the same parent company as Cali Northern, hence the same paint job.
This video was fucking awsome. Keep making them there great. I have no complants. Just one question around 2:42 there are green engines i have never seen before. What railway is that? Thanks
Actually that is a reginal that runs in that area. I am not sure what the exact name is but i am sure Brandon (Trickholmes) can tell you. That train i have herd is rare to catch on this line. BNSF has repainted about 60-70% of there locos to heritage scemes 1-3 the rest are in BN Green and Atsf Warbonet Red (But some remain in ATSF Yellow)
I've never liked music drowning out the sounds of the railway. I've never liked fancy visual effects in rail videos either. BUT this is great, very different and strangely addictive. Five stars from me. Many thanks.
Your first video was amazing! Your second...STELLAR!!! I can not wait for the next. And thank you for all the time and work im sure goes into makeing these!

If there has to be music, without vocals please! No vocals can ever beat a nice diesel sound ...
Otherwise, nice video!
(although it´s not the newest anymore, since I have uploaded many more train videos AFTER this one! ;)
Check them out!

The Green locos with white band are Arizona/California
Red/Gray loco behind is Central Oregon Pacific.
Most likely a RailAmerica train which has 42 shortlines.

Great video! Sheer brilliance!
In response to the 2:42 green engines, those are not ex-BN. They are ex-Santa Fe units now running for "Arizona & California Railroad".
GP38-2 + SD45-2 + SD45E + SD45-2 + GP38-2. =)
Greetings from Australia!

the green engines are Burlington Northern locos
Burlington Northern merged with Santa Fe in 1996 to form BNSF
they haven't repainted all their locos yet
