I'm here to enlighten, as my point is not about the music particularly, but the judgement of it. Must we label everything? I think we all have many facets to ourselves, and to categorize simply creates limitations. I know when someone says something mean spirited about my work, it's more of about THEM.

@stellartunes So, my point is that , of course, there are no castrati anymore and we can't recreate fully how they sounded, but there's a big difference BW singing this stuff as a classically trained CT with proper TECHNIQUE, depth of interpretation, having all 3 well-developed registers and not only singing in falsetto on high notes, breath control and singing it superficially in a POP style like PJ does it here and Haim behaving too.I expected serious art as it's presented but this is just POP

I'm a fan of Measha Brueggergosman, on many levels...I find for me personally, PJ does not resonate emotionally ..that's my barometer.....kind of like Callas, you may not have liked some of her technique, but you certainly could feel her.
