@kolobite C'est très possible, c'était environ ce temps il y avait aussi les mots comme forêt, qui était écrit comme forest et on roulait les r's. Il y a un plénitude de différences entre la français de Louis XIV et la français d'aujourd'hui.
It's very possible, as around this time the word forêt was written forest and they would roll the r's. Theres a great number of differences between the french of Louis XIV and the french of today.

At least, we think it's the case. However it's simply impossible to know. Regardless, accents aren't that easy to lose!

Sorry about the wait, but once again yes so it's thought. In any case it's definitely not the same accent that we use today.
