Ah, my wonderful friend and dear Maestro, once again I have entreated my ears and lifted my Spirit with these wonderful strains. As well, it has been my great pleasure to introduce your wonderful talents during this audience to my eldest sister, also having in her past experience both playing and composing talents. I sat to the rear while she was enraptured in your playing, smiling as her frame swayed to and fro to your music. She wishes to convey to you her heartfelt thanks for such ...
(cont'd) ... flight of soul carried upon the wings of your beautiful music (unquote). She will be returning to your sight once she has obtained the means to be online. I bid you a most wonderful day tomorrow, my dear friend.
Wow...I'm blown away! What a fantistic ride I just had on that Unicorn! (Little scary when it threw back it's head and almost poked out my eye, but I ducked!) Thank you! 100*
exquisite...Angelo..you are opening my eyes to a beautiful new sector of music..and I thank you for that! And yes, I did close my eyes for this most interesting journey.
It really is a masterpiece on a raised self made shelf Angelo. Love the subtle video embelishments, you really can imaginatley tell youre uplifting tails.
More so, such is the spirit of friendship, and in this the temporary has no meaning. Rest, sharing, and welcome are always to be found. You are such a friend.
I travel within these electric corridors listening to such variations as would boggle any mind and set it adrift. When all begins to descend into an homogeneous mass, I return here to regain both my center and my bearings on that which is pure and beautiful. Your music is thus often my beacon.
Oh, I thought your shirt was a deep berry colour - but it appears black here. Not quite the colour of F# major. No matter. Again, glorious melodies shining through - at 02:08 - 02.27. How I wish I'd written that! It's very beautiful - and thereafter at 03:03 -03.10....I love it! In other clips I saw your hands as thorougbreds but here, at 0.500 they become your white unicorn.Best wishes....
ahh .. not only a great composer, a keen observer, careful listener and seeker of tasteful compliment. TY
The shirt ...yes, contrast in the editing took away its proper colour.
You caught the dewdrop falling of the unicorn's horn at 0.500. You have fantastic observation. I could've played that bit in a few ways. But I was seeking galloping motion to maintain throughout. Performance should express the visual feast if possible with appropriated technique. Music involves every sense I swear.
I was thinking perhaps my art was a dying one and perhaps that I should move to something else. However, it seems as long as I get responses such as yours ....
well perhaps I shall ...
How bout this. You give me a key(there are only 12) and an idea. And I will compose and play a piece just for you right here on youtube from my imagination with what skill I may muster.
sounds great. how about a-minor? and for an idea...perhaps you could picture a stormy sea and a beautiful siren calling sailors to their death on a sharp rocky coast.
My mum's father had quite a bit of hair loss. Full Irish.
It may be in my genes to lose some hair soon enough.
That or I might just get hung up like Absalom should my eyesight go before and I am still devilishy flaunting it.
Just rewards come in due process in more than one way rather unfortunately.
Yet was it Solomon(also of David) who wrote of dignity of the head with white hair? A comparison to wisdom and experience for which the young may look to for guidance.
I feel compelled to write beofre I've finished watching, as this is such a wondeful piece, I shall add this to my favoutites. You have an amazing theatrical compositional style, this reminds of Chopin quite a lot. Plus you play beautifully.
what a joyFULL journey!!! what an elation celebration!!! what a MANgical~~~MYSTical MUSE~ical treasure YOU ARE!!! i wish i could type with my eyes closed as i AM still immersed in YOUr gift ahhhooosome angelo!!! on whimsical wings i travel with poetic appreciation, john :):):)

"Simplicity is the final achievement. After one has played a vast quantity of notes and more notes, it is simplicity that emerges as the crowning reward of art." ~ Frederic Chopin
If this is what Chopin thought. I find merit in his words. For perhaps the very existence of a musical performer is to serve the listener with a moment away from any colourless matter in life and replace it with colour. It really is that simple.
Therefore it is not only a pleasure to perform. It is an art, a calling.
To that I am a servant, humbly.
I see in your videos that you do give your very best to all you may with your gifted voice.
And your talent will live on forever as well my friend. I lied down and closed my eyes and could really imagine a beautiful, enchanting ride on a unicorn under the starry skies. You're a rare individual and a shining light. 5 million stars. *****
This was so astounding I wasn't going to respond. But I must. For all of us who do sing and express with music, in my view, are certainly part of an eternal dance that is affected by the spheres.
Each of us having a unique ability to affect the humanity who accompany us through our charted course.
I wish I could help everyone see what I see and encourage all who are giving voice to their talents.
Wow, Michael, thank you so much for sharing this outstanding talent with me! I just adored this video! Who could not appreciate such fine and beautiful talent!! 5 stars and plenty more from me! Tamara xx
I have often re-watched this piece, it is wonderfully enchanting and its theme moves and delights me. The enhanced sound quality and added footage are splendid, Angelo =)
I watch this small square on my screen place entertainment before my eyes. Yet once in a great while its window opens revealing that rare and creative soul whose uniqueness sees no convention but shapes the world to its own in both depth and fancy. Play on, Angelo. Your camera provides you another sustain and we, on the other side of that little square, are resonant witness to your creativity. I doff my hat to you, maestro.
Oh my. What beautiful places have I stumbled into, way too late at night to linger? Link after lyrical, magical link, from poetry to films to concertos. All just deep and lovely. And me needing sleep, badly. sigh People say there aren't enough hours in the day. For me, there aren't enough in the night.
Are you real?
Fascinating!! perhaps, you are the magic you meant.

I thought more Liszt than Chopin (especially about the hair!) with a touch of the Scriabins and a dash of Rachmaninov! Lovely melody at 6.00-6.25.
brychar66 3 years ago
Thank you kindly. You have a good ear! Those three composer/performers are distinguished influences of mine.
Hair can express can't it?
One wonders if Liszt used his hair inadvertantly or advertantly to benefit his performance. Or both.
Mine is long and does what it does. I am not conscious of it during composing or performing other than if it gets in my mouth.
ASAngelo 3 years ago
I love the hair - if you've got it, flaunt it!...I too had hair in my youth :)
