I loved Brad Swaile for this role, but when he did Amuro in Mobile Suit Gundam he was too fucking whiney....and he ruined the awesomeness of Gato from Gundam 0083 when they had him do his voice in the Encounters in Space PS2 game instead of the original voice actor for Gato. But all in all, Brad Swaile was awesome for Light Yagami.

Yup. XD Brad Swaile was Light Yagami. I realized it when I watched the gundam movie Char's Counterattack, followed by first Death Note Movie which used all the same voice actors from the anime to dub over Japanese actors mouth movements. Lol.

It's the same deal with Quinton Flyn being Reno in FF7 or Axel in KH, but I heard him as Raiden in MGS2. Then hearing that Phil La Marr(Vamp in MGS 2 and 4) was also Ramza in FF tactics, just blew my mind. But now I'm going off track.:P We need MOAR UN Owen variations though. ^^ so awesome
