  • i seek pole shift survival group

  • This is awesome.

  • has a megadeth risk album quality to it.

  • the melody of a part of it reminds me of the beginning of "The Supermen". Interesting piece.

  • this wasn't from Heathen. I never heard it before but it's great! Bowie is amazing!

  • Beauty! Fantastic! There is much more to be told 'bout this masterpiece!

    Tanx!

  • Wow... what a mix...... everything jumps out of the speakers....

  • Okay, is that a Stylophone in the intro (and throughout)?

Great song. Not necessarily appropriate for "Rugrats," but then again, why not? Gotta give the nippers the benefit of the doubt. Thanks for sharing!

  • @juniperandlamplight agreed! My daughter was in love with David, when she was a younger girl. She still loves his music, but she's moved on to things more her age now, but she will always love him like I do! :-)

  • Fabuleschen darling. Like a quality shirt. Never gets old.

  • His voice is too creepyfor a children's movie, but they shoul''ve added it anyways.

  • Thank you for putting this song up, it's just amazing. I couldn't find it on iTunes, is there any word on where it might be available for download?

  • @MistakenMantis i downloaded the song from amazon

  • This song didn't make the movie because the scene it was supposed to score was cut from the film. The movie's musical director was upset, because he really wanted to work with Bowie and he's was very happy with the song. The producers asked for "classic Bowie", part Space Oddity part Absolute Beginners.

  • This was in rugrats right?

  • He looks like Gman in that pic

  • It's a great song, but I can see why Nickelodeon didn't use it. The uniqueness and complexity of this sound is not "safe" to try and sell to a broad family audience. I wonder if the original version was a little more pop-sounding.

  • Has anybody news on if David is working on a new studio album?

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry but no. :(

  • Can anybody give me the lyrics of this

    extraordinary song?

  • This tune is the perfect showcase for The Gentleman's lovely voice and it's a crying sin it wasn't used in the movie. What a way to introduce little ones to the enchantment of Bowie's musical stylings

  • Extremely well said. I first encountered Bowie when I was a kid and I fell in love with the man and his music almost at once.

  • ♥♥ ♪♪♪ ♥♥ [...]Sure to think of, from now on The things will move more slowly But thin is thin and chances slim And sometimes we all have those dreams... [...] [...]The past it almost shimmers now All we needed, all we wished for But here I am and safe am I Trusting in the lament sky [...] [...]Are things getting better now? Are things getting worse? [...] a question only Bowie himself can answer anyway I really would like to see him perform again
  • I don't care much for most of the Heathen/Toy era outtakes and b-sides, but this one is by far one of the best tracks from those years, and one of my very favorite Bowie tracks. I don't know why I love it so much, just do.

  • Je roule et m'enroule avec délice , tant de délice dans le velours de sa voix, elle est pour moi comme une caresse délicate, sensuelle.

Bowie, je Vous aime, je vous aime...

  • he so sweet i want to lick the rapper,, she lick me like a lollipop , shorty want to thugggg bottles in the club

  • Excellent!

  • why did the take it out? was it because it is really creepy

  • I am trying really, really hard to picture this song in the Rugrats movie.

    Really hard.

  • Lol I love your coment on this XD

  • @zoomgas There's a reason why it wasn't used I dare say. This is an amazing song, a huge theme, but really: Visconti and Bowie overshot their target when they put this together for a children's movie!!

  • @zoomgas Thomas Dolby did the FernGully soundtrack and used a line about "jock itch" (sung by Robin Williams), and Motorhead popped up on the Spongebob Squarepants Movie soundtrack with an original song for the film, so, stranger things have happened.

  • bknnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • It`s conspicuous that all those `Salieris` and bunch of over-payed part-time back-stabbers did not finally succeed in trying to pull him down despite of their immense influence on crowds. His metaphorical `Bowie`-knife was sharper in the `end`.

  • Now this IS happening. Love the production values, vocals. Definitely has the Visconti "Heathen" feel. Thanks for posting.

  • My single of 'Hi' has 'Baby loves that way' & 'You've got a habit of leaving' (TOY sessions) 'Wood Jackson' is on my 'Slowburn' single with 'Shadowman'(that's awesome!!)

Mrmark, you must have the other CD single of 'Hi', the one which I wouldn't buy as I felt I was being forced to buy 2 singles instead of 1. I wanted more but I didn't want it forced... T.Child, I got my Safe from Bowiezone. It's not a download, but a couple of cables & a digital recorder or PC soundcard In will do it.

  • I have the single with this song on. Fantastic! Wood Jackson is awesome too.

  • oh I'm loving it... seriously need to find me a copy of this song

  • Fab. Thank you pet. This song shows off his amazing voice. I love Heathen loads.
