  • and for every one to know maybe the tittle is wrong maybe the dog isn't an australian cattle dog maybe it is an australian stumpy tail cattle dog check it out they don't have tail

  • LOL, really? Put simply, does the AKC require a tail to compete?

  • @unclearless no, my dog is a rescue you can get a number to compete in agility, herding, obediance and rally, you just can't compete in the breed ring, also your dog needs to be spayed or neutered in order to get a number, and in recent years I believe AKC allows mixed breeds to compete as well, you should ask an agility trainer near you, there are even other organizations that let you compete in agility not just AKC

  • That was cool.

  • I always see cattle dogs with dicked tails in the states yet hear in canada they are never docked is it an AkC standard

  • @copilotsagility I read that they aren't supposed to be docked. I normally see them undocked in the states.

  • @copilotsagility ...So my little Blue Heeler "Nugget" could not compete because he is a rescue and some ass already docked him before he ended up in line to die at the pound? If that is the case, that would suck! I think I could train him to win!

  • @unclearless What lol sorry that was really unclear what you are getting at

  • @unclearless check this out australian shepherds don't actually have a tail and they compete in agility trails

  • they have lovely tails why to cut it :((((
