You mean, how do you download them, rather than how you make them?

Making them is really complex - and the average person simply can't program, edit, and change everything like that.

But if you mean how do you download one, where do you put it, etc., that's different.

Search out "Nightmare House" "Half-Life 2" and download it, and run the program.

If you don't have HL2, it won't work. But the mod SHOULD show up in your list of games on Steam.
