  • Yea just punching for exercise my century is soft in middle and cement on bottom. I use gloves but my elbows and shoulders ache. I hit pretty hard and it gets to swinging all over. I like the water ones for joint pain and shipping but i want it to last. I would kick it for ab work but im no mma guy.

  • @Chubblybubbly100 At that time it was only filled up to about 100lbs of water, now it is filled all the way to the maximum amount which is 140lbs. The bag is not to soft or hard, it's just right man trust me get this bag and wont regret. What is the kinda training you'll be doing with this? Just boxing or more?

  • @emkplayboy6 ...I don't have any videos...but I did have some fights (amateur) and was instructed with the basics...and believe me..hands up, chin down, throw your punches straight, goes a long way. you get a great cardio work out.  Not because I'm an authority..I'm not..I learned by my mistakes and was lucky to have a pro show me the proper technique. Keep training..!!!!

    and i like how you try to follow up the elbow with the punch combo but when you do that you gutta get closer :s cuz atm you are just leaning your body forward and if you lose balance you fucked! :L

    BUT i love your spirit bro! the way you give each punch and elbow etc passion and intent :)

    but ALSO TRY SOME KICKS! :D like roundhouse :) and the knees need to be executed at a closer range but NICE!

  • Not to be mean but to increase your hand speed wear 5-10 pound wrist weights with 16 oz. gloves or pick up some 15lb. dumbbells and punch the air. There's also the burn machine which many MMA fighters use to get there speed like Lesnar but that things like 120-150 dollars. Which do you like better Boxing or MMA.

  • Also if you come from a boxing background you'll understand that your form is that of a speed fighter, which you are not. Keep your dominate hand close to your cheek and your jab hand to your chin. When you throw your punches pivot your body more, you're a big guy and a punch with your entire body would level someone. When you throw your right hook, lean right and pivot your body like you are squashing a bug with your right foot. Also keep your elbow at the same level of your fist.

  • Im not hatin' man, I do amatuer fights and tournaments all the time, and I don't get better without criticism. Secondly I'll go on to critique your form. When you throw a left cross you keep your elbow down, during the first few seconds of the video your elbow bends to the side which makes your punch considerably less powerful. Also when you throw the punch keep your blocking hand up higher so if you miss or your opponent counters you can protect yourself.

    i think ur main flaw lies in your guard, you seem to be too jumpy, almost trying to look fancy when blocking stuff, just stay relaxed and move fluid, and stop waving them about.

    if you learn a proper gurard and keep hands up your punches will come from the right places and be more effective.

    finally only switch stand occasionally, not every 15 seconds.

    a few minor adjustments will make all the difference mate, best of luck

  • i got this stand. its pretty cool made a vid like this too. Some tips would be to keep ur gaurd up all the time, use your hips more and arms less, and don't step with the elbows ( i have the same problem) its an up close attack. If i were you i would completely cut out the kicks, cuz these in the video would only b hittin the opponent in the dick. Nice vid! keep trainin! oh and how much u weighin in at now?

  • the seizure at 0:42-0:44, the stuffed shot attempt at 0:59, & the kick at 2:50 are all deadly fighting techniques, & the constant arm/hand waving had me distracted 5 states away.
