  • Did i miss something? Who won and how????

  • Adly won with a nice exchange sacrifice.

  • Warning 1350 analysis follows lol:

The beauty of the sac (30. ... Rxh4) is that to recover the lost Bishop White MUST give black the open G file and create TWO pawn islands for himself. Black immediately exploits the open file with 31. ... Rg2. It seems that the real point of Rg2 is the looming threat of Rd2#, so White is force to play either Rbd1 or Red1. Red1 makes both rooks really passive, and Rbd1 loses a pawn, and creates a fourth island. Hope I got this close enuf not 2bflamed!!!

  • @trod999 hahaha... I read this analysis of the game and thought it was really helpful; allowed me to see deeper into the position... then I saw that I was the author lol.... I've been out of chess for a few years and am just getting back into it. I wish I had my brain from 2 years ago lol.

  • nice sac!!

  • very nice great sac.!!
