  • TRES DROLE LE SACHET DE THE!

  • Vraiment appétissant - but the original cassoulet is no more racist than is the chorizo or the Melton Mowbray pork pie. Haram, perhaps, but not racist.

  • @irateofwatford When I originally uploaded this recipe for Cassoulet I got a lot of racist abuse from French Nationalists.

  • @TitliNihaan I take your point. I wouldn't waste good cassoulet on such useless bastards - and I hope they get thrashed at the next elections!

  • hmm why didn't you do the thing with bread crumbs / crust / poke down / bread crumbs / crust / poke down, etc... to get a better sticky texture?

  • hahha so much fun to watch !!

  • I cant see any racist comments... deleted?? Anyway, Superbe ton francais!! Je bookmark ce link! Next time I'll feel stressed and anxious about job, I'll watch this video!

  • @bobsleybobsley Inappropriate comments purged :-)

  • Hehehe so funny when she stab the sausages..!

  • thanks for the recepie...i love u auntie titli

  • SACRE BLEUU!!!.. lol, i think it means "sacred heaven" or something..

  • Bon!

    *blush* it's all I can say! :D

  • MAGNIFIGUE

  • Votre accent est absolument grandiose, je suis vraiment fan de vous. Désormais, vous êtes ma "muse culinaire". AMAZING <3

  • Haha spam and beans! I love this video!

  • Je suis Indien, et j'aime cette video! Tres bien Madame!

  • Made this for my husband tonight! It was yet another hit! My husband really adores your recipes.

A lot of younger people I know, including me,didn't have someone to teach them how to cook. You fill a gap in our lives!

  • J'aime cette vidéo tellement !

une , même si , je commence à apprendre des mots français .

  • come on, don't fight over small matter. anyway, this video is very funny and interesting (i like the french words even if i'm a beginner). Salam from Malaysia. Wink.

  • Tu parle bien francais :) Mais on dit 'piquant' . :D MELANGER BIEN :)

  • Tu parle bien francais :) Mais on dit 'piquant' . :D

  • huhu titli, your subtitles remind me of monty python's holly grail intro :D

and your commentators remind me of french right wing journalists during algerian independance... may acme anvils fall from the sky upon their narrow heads.

  • @FBuilding LOL @ Acme anvils! Beep Beep!

  • *blink* Yay, hate? *shrugs* Let hater hate, as they say on the Intertubes, because hiding behind a name like a comfortable mask is what they thrive at. In the meantime, let's talk food!

Say, Titli: I knew Cassoulet from my own time in Paris to be made with duck. Isn't that the "absolute classic"? That would be Halal too, non?

  • I read all mean comments on recipe. It'a a pity and a shame.

Go on Titli, with your recipes. It's a wonderful tour around different tastes in the world! I like your videos !

  • And in the end, different food just gets eaten (yummm) and completely mixed up in your tummy at the end of the day. Why can't it be the same for different cultures? Well, minus the eaten part.

  • Très bon travail! Je suis un kilo de pommes

  • Cant baked beans be used??

  • @ToffeeDod1antiffic Good question. In principle, yes!

  • @ToffeeDod1antiffic As Titli said: Yes. However, if you have the classic "in tomato sauce"-ones, I'd drain off the sauce and give 'em a quick wash to rise off the rest. Tomato can be a rather powerful flavour you may not wish to have in this particular stew. (Then again, what do *I* know, I'm just some German. ;) )

  • @WishStone N I m just some Indian. Lolz. Thanx.

  • i am so very thankful from the abyss of my heart for providing us with such wonderful and ofcourse halal recipes and especially for things we ,being muslims, cant eat!! jazkillah-u-khair!! love all your videos =) and oh yes, just sod off all the racists blabbering about!! keep on the great work!!

  • @TheDoctorcute As a fairly recent revert to islam I wanted to enjoy eating all the things I used to eat. Necessity is the mother of invention :o)

  • Titli, you always make my day. Keep doing what you do best!!!!!!

  • you guys please comment only on the receipe and the cooking please don't spoile her efforts this is only a cooking channel please let us enjoy the videos.

  • @kak58 la meilleure cuisine du monde c'est d'abord celle qu'on fait avec son coeur et qu'on va partager;

  • Amazing video where did you learn french!!

  • WOW, you're just as fluent... how come?

  • I really liked your video.

  • Non,non Titli ,ce n'est pas du persiflage.C'est juste ta langue qui a fourché.

  • Aaaaaaaah! I want English!!! Just kiddin', great recipe ^_^

  • bouquet garni is wrapped in a green leek. sachet is tied up in cheese cloth. so you have a plain sachet, not a sachet bouquet garni :) great cassoulet tutorial though

  • @spinebreakerchick The one I use in the video is made by Ducros. You can find info on the Ducros point fr website

  • you should speak in French in your vids from now on!! :D

  • Awesome !!! I love watching your videos not just for the recipes..but they are also so entertaining :)

    Titli,

I was wondering when you'll be making Cassoulet Titli style for us? :P

    Happy Ramadan to ya!

Wow! You made it ... awesomeness! :))

  • C'est bien aussi des vidéos en français ! Surtout avec une telle maîtrise de la langue ! :D

  • LOVED the dodgy translation! :) Best not show this to my French father as according to him his mother made THE original Cassoulet... yikes! English mother rolls eyes ;)

  • how many languages can you talk? xD I love you!

  • bonne *thumbs up*

  • AT LEAST! une recette in french version.C'est encore meilleur que d'habitude.Surtout Titli ne change rien.Ton accent et ta prononciation sont D E L I C I O U S!!!.Et ton cassoulet.......semble.....D E L I C I O U S!!!

  • Oh man! I wanna learn French so bad :(... Any advice that will help ???

  • @z3alomy Move here!

  • @TitliNihaan HAHA like it's that easy :D... but I can break that rule! I'm already learning: "como sa va" And your cooking is bien.

  • @TitliNihaan Will you feed me, while I get a job? XD

  • @Jetbrowse Sure, no problem.

  • the 'h' in 'haricots' is not 'aspiré' !!!

never make any liaisons for words starting with a 'h' :)

can tell ya i'm french ^^

but anyway, it was very understandable ;)

    toutes mes félicitations Titli !!!

  • @ggackt ...and it's AN 'h' :-D

  • Hmmm, that looks REEEEEEEEEAL good,..!! thxu ; ) Thumbs up!!

  • c'est "melanger" pas "menager" LOL Titli french its an amazing language! i know fremch, italian and english, but i absolutely prefer french! LOL

  • @JulesRaww I said "melanger" but stumbled and it came out "meanger" :-)

  • @TitliNihaan loool titli i didn't heard!

  • Thumbs up for "hatcheted tomatoes" and "skanky bean liquid" LOL!

  • @jonnycoyle I've lived in France for over 7 years. It helps! :-)

  • @TitliNihaan

    until when?

  • Tu parles super bien le français Titli, it's so cute! That's a funny way to cook Cassoulet! lol But you must say: HAricots, not ZAricots!! eh eh What is the words u always says at the end of your vids btw? What's that language, please?

  • @RobinSandza Les haricots - lezaricots :-) Khuda hafiz means God protect you. It's Farsi.

  • @TitliNihaan But the 'h' in 'haricots' is 'aspiré', not 'muet', so you can't make the 'liaison'. (It's like in 'héros', 'haches', etc).

For me the liaison is the most difficult part of French pronunciation. I always have trouble deciding whether I should do it. A pain in the cul! ;)

  • @estoymuyharta Agreed! From les heros to lezeros in a clin d'oeil! :-D

  • @TitliNihaan :D.

I think they changed it for 'haricots', btw. I think it used to be muet and now it's aspiré. Just to make it more interesting ;)

  • @TitliNihaan OH OK, "Khuda hafiz"! Lovely expression

  • Are these white kidney beans?

  • @hajijackson They look like white kidney beans! They're haricot beans, but any large white bean will do (e.g. fava)

  • lmao!!

  • hhahaha,,, u r amazing titli...

  • what the hell u r crazy, but nice work, did you remove that daft thingo?

  • Je suis mort de rire :D you're amazing !

  • i don't think so it would be delicious

  • your accents is just too cute! :D

  • LOL. The French have a word for "Blighters"?

  • yummy :)?
