Thanks for the response. I have worked with stage fighters before but have never had a chance to talk with them before, so I was always curious what they did when they where not on a film set. I'm always curious about the various people I run into through my work, but rarely get a chance to really sit down with them.

I get the impression you might have thought I was being a bit agressive with my question. That wasn't my intention, I was only curious.

what would you do with a degree in stage combat? Extra work in film/television is about all I can imagine.

@Aspenly Go on the Renaissance festival circuit. Wouldn't pay much at first, but if you built up to your own stage act, it might be worth it. You could also become a teacher. Had stage combat class myself in college, and that was nearly 20 years ago.

tehy learn when to stop in a stage fight.. theyare still taught areas to avoid hitting in stage. not hard to figure out to hit those spots in a real fight
