Pripyat is a real place. Its is abandoned due to chernobyl. My friend has visited teh place before.

Stalker was released march 20 2007 and had the same map.How ever lets not to forget that maps were made a lot earlier than the game release date!

Except that now you can drive a tank, fly a helicopter, and you can actually move around the map instead of the instant spawnrape you get on CoD4 multiplayer.

My CoD4 is for sale, I'm playing PoE 2 instead.
