  • anyone know why he changes the phrasing and puts the "I" at the beginning of the next phrase??? As written, the "I" belongs on the end of each phrase.

  • @screamer42 different way of interpreting it.... the "I" itself may be on the end of each phrase musically but that doesn't necessarily hold true for the acting of the song. The "I" here is in the beginning of the next phrase because acting wise it is the beginning of a new thought in his interpretation. "Watch me rain til I pour. I'll catch a ship that will sail me astray." Versus running the two thoughts together, "Watch me rain til I pour I'll catch a ship that will sail me astray."

  • This is David's song. I've never seen anyone do it anywhere near as well as he does.

  • David is a very talented man with an amazing voice, an all around genuinely beautiful person.

  • STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL....IN VOICE, POWER, EMOTION AND ARTISTRY!

David Burnham, you are the man to watch!
