to most people this would be a sad song but to me this song brought back the memories of sitting in front of the tv and watch PBS kids till i was 10. but i see sesame street in this song as a reminder that its always ok to be a kid
they damn well better have this song on the dvd. back in year 4 when they did my life in four cameras, over the end of the episode, they had colin hay singing a beautiful remix of the cheers theme song & in syndication & on the dvds they take that out & replace it with generic music. so, i reiterate, they better have the song on the dvd!
Scrubs has always been about character development and growth, so if Denise (the "cutthroat bitch" of Scrubs, wink wink at House fans) comes into the show already fully developed, what's the point?
I believe there will be a moment where we'll find out she isn't as hard as she pretends she is. Just wait for it. The strength of the show is how complex the characters are, and how they adapt to the way their lives change in Sacred Hearts.
i don't think we'll ever be able to get it... Bill Lawrence said that since Joshua Radin doesn't own the song, he probably won't be allowed to sell it... ;__;
Season 8 is shaping up to be one of the best seasons ever. This moment is perfectly Scrubs, and so well done. And like everyone else I'm dying to find this version of the song. SOMEBODY HELP A BROTHER OUT!
Heya, I loved the sesame street theme here, still cant find it anywhere. Anyways, anyone notice that turk is getting less parts in the episodes? There usually a balance with all the characters, but with most of the episodes this season, even though its nicely written, still seems a bit off.
i do agree with all of u i like the way each intern is the complete opposite to jd,cox and eliiot.i love this song and do hope he brings it out to buy my favourite episode so far.
I love all of the new interns. They all build off of their mentors so well. JD's main characteristic is his emotions. Denise can't show her emotions. Cox's defining trait is how much he cares about his patients wellbeing, no matter how hard he has to work. Ed doesn't care, and is lazy. Katie abuses Elliott's insecurity. It all reminds me of the episode where they saw themselves in their patients, like JD as the woman with breast cancer, and Cox as the guy dying from stress.
i, like almost everybody else in the world, grew up with sesame street, and still watch it once in a while. i got so emotional when i realized this was the theme song, and i can't get over how beautiful it is.
I whole heatedly agree with the dis-liking Denise part. To be honest, I'm not enjoying season 8 as much as most of the others purely because of how Denise is written off to be so...un-emotional and it kind of ruins the whole basis of what Scrubs started out being. Glad to see others dis-like it as well. She really ought to get the boot from the whole series, in my opinion anyway.
as annoying as it is now, it's going to be a large part of the season, because they are already aknowledging that it something she needs to improve on. even in last night's episodes, J.D. told her she has to get better at it or she won't make it as a doctor
there's some development with denise in episode 6. plus, remember how cold and semi-bitchy elliot was in the first season? she was NOT very pleasant at first, but she grew and learned.
