There's no one definition of Black Metal. Immortal would say it's about cold, frostbitten Scandinavian landscapes, Mayhem would say it was about war, destruction, Satan Darkthrone would say it was about saying 'Fuck you' and doing your own thing, Burzum would say it was about fantasy, a call for Europeans to remember their heritage and Gods. I could go on. But the one thing they all hold in common is a hatred for the modern world and its values.  Something I think we can all relate to.

If art crit is an individual right of the art consumer, then why, upon my original criticism of the song, which dealt with the fact that it hardly leaves its repitition of 6 chord to 1 chord, was I met with a bunch of worthless spew?  The public fashions themselves critics, but without practicing an art, studying it, and contemplating those studies often, there can be no delicacy of taste, just uneducated individual fancy.

For much more "extreme" USBM you can try Anaal Nathrakh; their music will smash your skull in. Try out "In The Constellation of the Black Widow" that album is heavy as balls and incredibly evil.
