awwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!! I used to have a parakeet (named Fluffy!-got him on 2nd grade :)) RIP, he died of fatty liver disease (we really didn't give him that many seeds ;( and he was only 6 years old;() on March 17, 2011. And then I got Cheeku! My new IRN! I really hope he'll be as sweet as yours!

@theenchantedhorse No, just because a budgie has a LIGHT BLUE cere doesn't make it a male. Males either have a vivid pink cere (young), or a dark blue to violet cere. I've once had a female whose cere would often change from light blue to a crusty brown.
