you should use the, agility and 3% crit damage increase meta gem instead of the 21 crit strike rating because the agility will be a better stat increase. double beserking on weps as well i would go for, you would get a higher dps increase.

I do agree with Dual zerker on both weapons, but the Agility gem instead of the Crit gem is wrong. Even scaled with blessing of kings, it's still behind the crit gem. It's a rogue/hunter meta.

ima fury warrior i dont agree with alot of this. the talent tree, you should definitely choose booming voice over 2 points on demoralizing shout because you should be using battle shout instead of demoralizing, also 3 points on improved cleave and use it as a rage dump, because in raids and HC's your going to have to fight far more multiple targets than single targets so cleave will become your main damage move for certain. added about 1.5k DPS to my DPS, especially when you use recklessness.

An ultimate howto to do DPS on a fury warrior would be to use a virgin WOW install with no addons and gui replacements and show us the icons on the bar close up and show us the rotation.

At first my dps sucked and found out the reason was I put all my talents into fury thinking it would give best dps. boy was I wrong.... only gave 600 dps on level 80.

I got full T9 armor and still dps suck after fixing talents. Only getting 1400 dps

im soft capped on hit but not capped on expertise yet, the only time i do good dps is if theres a lot of mobs i just cleave/whirlwind spam and i get good numbers, but single target i get way more dps as arms, i dunno i practice on dummies so my rotation seems fine, u know if fury is very gear dependant ?

this was made before they introduced the epic gem recipes, so today you would want to use the relentless earthsiege diamond instead of chatoic META and use the 10+ stat gem

and yes we did use massacre on OH back then but it was changed not long after to have it on both MH and OH.

As far as i know, for solo levelling up dual wielding fury is better than arms. DW fury has more rage for levelling up than arms, and bloodthirst contributes slightly to reduce downtime.

Depends on the player.

If you are lacking on cash and don't raid/heroics often, go Arms. You will need two 1h/2h for fury if you want to go down that tree, and keeping both of the weapons upgraded might take a lot of time. Also some people, death knights for example, will think you are being cheap for upgrading your offhand when they needed the item more, so be sure that you are not only thinking about your next weapon.

I keep hearing the term "Rage Dump" what does that mean... and why would one do it?

a rage dump is an ability that costs a LOT of rage. HS costs a lot of rage because of the fact that because it uses your next MH swing, that swing will generate rage, which normally could be like 25 or more rage... making HS effectively cost 40 rage.

the point of this is that not only do you not want to be rage starved, but also not rage capped (at 100 rage). this is because at 100 rage any attacks that normally would generate rage won't which essentially wastes that rage.

Only prot warriors should be spamming Heroic Strike because of the threat it causes. He's right in that it should only be used as a rage dump. In a raid, if a dps warrior, fury or arms, spams heroic strike on a boss, he's going to pull aggro really fast.

this guide is old and kinda out dated (it was made before the 10% TG damage reduction was added mind you), all stat value data should be taken with a grain of salt, but the basic ideas of practicing on the dummies and all that assorted shit is still relevant.

at the cost of MORE RAGE AND 3 TALENT PONTS. un imp HS costs 15 rage, cleave costs 20 if you have 3/3 imp cleave: 222*2.2=488.4 bonus damage per cleave hit, which by the way is lower than heroic strike. but for arguements sake lets continue. 495/15=33 damage per rage 488.4/20=24.42 damage per rage. if you have imp HS (which you should): 495/12=41.25 damage per rage long story short you are 1) wrong 2) stupid 3) ignorant

I'm level 71, obviously not hit capped, no expertise and half of my gear is Prot from when I tanked at 70 in TBC, currently leveling to 80 as Arms, after watching your videos I just wanted to try the difference between Arms and Fury on the level 70 test dummy, results.. Arms=1200DPS, Fury=700DPS.. I've followed your rotation's for both spec's to the letter, I've read through elitistjerks and wowpopular for spec's/info.. does Fury only match Arms at 80?.. or am I doing something seriously wrong?

EDIT: nevermind I really was doing something wrong and my spec was also wrong, my main problem would be lack of hit/expertise for rage generation, when i go to the level 60 dummies as Fury I can do the same/more damage than Arms on the level 70 dummies, this would indicate a problem with landing my attacks to get enough rage for Fury to be awesome, the damage between the specs are really similar it really does come down to personal preference and playstyle :)
