Going around, I am finding all sorts of nice little renditions of this song. The chord variation is especially pleasing. Good on ya, mate! This piece is very VERY sensitive. If you are out of tune just a little, it hurts. Same goes for if you mute a string on accident. The bulk is easy enough to grasp, but there is a subtlety to this piece which makes it shine. Keep practicing!
Well I think there are better ways of phrasing that opinion than "wtf!! horrible!". You managed to explain yourself with intelligence and clarity, despite its harsh content, perhaps it would be worth taking this path to begin with, in future? And that's just my honest opinion.
I am pleased that you don't think I "suck" completely, and that this seems to be a one-off. A case of "each to their own", I suspect.
Tbh, I think even this is better than a lot of the real "shit" on the radio nowadays, particularly here in the UK. Still, I do not pretend to be Dave Grohl, I'm just trying to pay homage to an artist I love. If you get your kicks by going online and finding people who actually make a decent effort and flaming them, then fine, I hope you're the one that's satisfied.
