First saw Kodocha when I went to the London Anime Club. Half the room would sing along with opening. Took a while to get used to reading the subtitles at around twice normal speed just to keep up with the dialogue but well worth it. Thanks for the upload ;)

I kinda like this opening. Too bad they couldn't use it but I noticed something. If you watch this opening and then go to the 2nd one that they use for the whole series you'll see it. In the beginning of the 2nd one notice the clips that are going very fast. If you look closely they are the ones from this opening very fast and then it goes to the second one.

Well I'm pretty sure it's the first season opening of the Japanese version, which was the original. Often when dubing into English they will make they're own opening different from the orignal Japanses version, sometimes squishing together the first and second openings with shots from the show itself.
