What do you recommend for keeping the beach waves from falling out throughout the day. Im transiting and this method did work regardless of my relaxed hair but it sucks when I get home and majority if the waves have depleted. :(

OMG!!  This is BEAUTIFUL!! I'm also natural and I really really want to try to get my hair to do this....Wow...If I was a guy, this would be what I'd be attracted to. Forget that stringy, fake, weaved out look with a face full of clown make up, and fake nails. Plus, it is it me, or do all natural sistas seem to be INTELLIGENT!!

My hair is VERY long and extra thick and the only reason I put a relaxer in my hair is because a regular flat iron alone just wouldn't do the job. I got my first relaxer at 18....I'm 26 now and I've had less then 10 relaxers in my life...I don't want to damage my beautiful hair. I haven't had one since July 2011 and I just put a little color in my hair at the beginning of the month. I will never get another relaxer...I'll just have to work with my press and curl.

@krazykanadianeh Hi! I'm not Whitney but I may be able to answer your question. You won't get the exact same results since her natural texture is kinky curly, and I'm assuming yours is straight? However, you can get a similarISH result by doing this and using a holding spray. :)
