  • He should have been rich and famous, he´s that fucking good. Put on a Crenshaw- record and fly away....

  • Could someone post "Calling Out For Love at Crying Time"?

  • this sucks. he is WAAAAYYY better than this.

i love and appreciate the song, but. seriously, i'm disguisted by the rape of a great song.

  • the robot is having diner with darth vader and johnny cupcakes. luke skywalker is coming for desert

  • This is my favorite song from Marshall's 1982 self named album...great stuff.

  • Underrated indeed!! His debut, self-titled 1982 lp was nothing short of Spec-freakin-tacular!!! Rock on Marshall!!!

  • Great song and artist and lots of artists get overlooked but this is not fair. also overlooked: The Move, Love, The Replacements.

  • One of the most underrated artists ever. He is so great, my favorite.

  • i love the version of this on record, however this is great.

  • Agreed. Wasn't he great as Buddy Holly in the movie La Bamba?

  • Wonderful! I love Marshall with just his guitar, great songs...wish he'd do some of the 'lesser knowns' off his albums...they were great! anybody know? Thanks!

  • He is one of the best - saw him in a small club in Seattle - summer of 1982 releasing his first album. It is a true classic, this song is on it. This video does not do it justice at all.

  • Marshall,

I remember Pampa Studios. You are stillgreat. Think of you, and those days.

  • DOWN IN FRONT!!!

  • Marshall Rocks!!!

I've been a fan ever since I heard Someday Someway on the radio back in 1982. An amazing guitarist AND a gifted songwriter.

  • @beatlefan64 You're old

  • One of my favorite songs! I learned to play this in the key of F.

Those people talking and chatting should just leave. Why the hell go see live music when you're just going to talk?

  • tcnccps--I couldn't agree more. I've been teaching my kids to appreciate the Beatles and Marshall Crenshaw!

  • With so much total crap, currently, on the airwaves... I'm going to do the right thing and make sure that my kids know about Marshall! Calling on all middle aged parents who care about american rock and roll to do the same!

  • First concert my kids seen was marshall. just a couple years ago in Chattanooga. Of course they were 2 and 3 at the time...but still, I thought it was cool:)

  • Love Marshall Crenshaw...he's probably one of the most underrated songwriters and artists in the music business. I remember the first time I heard this song on the radio back in the 80's. This is a perfectly crafted pop song...the arrangement on the album makes it a totally kick ass song.

  • A true pop genius.

  • A real tunesmith. I always loved this guy. I would love to see him in a small club like that too. I would'nt shoot the shit with my friends like an asshole while he was singing though. Fucking rude self absorbed pricks.

  • thank you so much for posting this! a perfect song, wonderfully rendered. Marshall Crenshaw, if you ever check in, just reflect for a moment on the glory of having written something this jewel-like, this beautiful.
