Did you have to build that box in the trunk? If not how did you get it in? Ive got a 99 olds I'll be putting an HD15D1 in soon and I'm pretty sure the box won't fix in any traditional methods. Almost makes me want to do a wall.
dont go 4gauge to your batt, 0/1 all the way buy don't forget to fuse it, then from your batt run the biggest wire the amp will accept. your door amp won't draw more then prob 60 amps so i wouldn't worry about that. its more important that you have the foundation set.
In order for your battery to not power the mid/high amp, you'd need to install a diode between the splitter and the batt. Without that, the power will backflow from the aux. batt through the splitter and to the mid/high amp. Where can you find a diode that can pass the required current? I dunno.
@MrFatman212 the bottom of my back seat folds forword torward the front seats i guess to allow the top of the back seat to law down flat? idk but mines a 03 SE so idk if there all the same
It all means shit if you have that crappy battery in the car. You need to quit bullshitting and get some New die hards in that pos. Die hards are the best.
You should run the 0 gauge to the battery then split the 4 gauge to the amps you will get more current to your amps. but 5 *s I'm loving the work on your system
you should see the braided wire we use in our units at work. 100mm braid (for auxiliary power supplies/battery chargers for trains) its some meaty stuff

Hey bro, just my advice, i would run the 0 gauge all the way to the battery then wire 4 gauge from the battery to the amp. Just my opinion
