Regis Philbin Early Years Part 2

I should probably post the video to share, but I don't know if I legally can eventho I took it. Did you shoot all the pics from KOGO?

OMG! I attended as a child almost every one of the Regis Philbin shows in San Diego. I even have 8mm film documenting it from the audience. What a pleasure seeing these pics. I wish I could find someone with pictures of the audience or old videos of the show. Any suggestions?

I wish I had taken movies, too! I've got hundreds of photos but don't think I have any of the audience. I'm afraid there aren't any videos unless Regis has some. When he started in '62 even Channel 10 didn't have tape.

You may notice some of the photos were taken at Ch-10 and Ch-8 with a few I took at his Ch-9 LA show he did in the late 60s.

I should get busy and scan many more photos and put them up. So many of those people are no longer with us.

Wow, whoever took those photos should win an Academy Award! They really give us a good "early" look into a American icon. Marshall Lichterman
