Look, I'm usually on the left spectrum when it comes to politics and social justice, but this is just RIDICULOUS. Have any of these students actually read SB185?

It basically states "this bill would authorize the University of California and the California State University to consider race, gender, ethnicity, and

national origin," to be included in the admission process. This is complete bullshit. Academics and expressed interest in your major/occupation should be the only deciding factors.

The issue was that the cupcakes were being sold to dirrerent races at different prices. The sale mirrored how tuition is priced based on race Why is that not in this video or other videos on this subject? This is not a documentary. The main issue is not addressed. A pure attempt to tell only part of the truth. This is garbage.

@miked761 That's pretty typical of the way the left is these days. They can't mention what the point of view of the other side is because they can't really offer a counter-argument. What they generally do is demonize and attack the people themselves. For example: Among the Occupy Wall Street protesters for example, do they say "This policy is bad and here is why."?  Nope they say "Corporations are greedy." and "Greed makes the economy bad." and "They are the 1%."

Yeah, sb 185 might have had unfair loopholes and maybe Jerry Brown really did the right thing to veto the measure. But he suddenly allows illegals to apply for full financial aid. Sure there are undocumented people that are bright, want to contribute to the American society, work hard, and even pay some taxes. But this still shows that our politicians care more about foreigners and not their OWN American citizens. Yet when you're illegal in OTHER nations, there is NO special treatment FOR you!!

@supportjapanwithlove No, it supports Affirmative Action. Why should the College GOP be mad minorities are more likely to get accepted to colleges? White students have always been accepted to colleges since the USA was formed. Why not give other ethnic people the same chance?

This doesn't mean I support the non-citizen students getting Financial Aid.

You get what you have it in yourself to be, it has nothing to do with your skin color. Everyone has the same chance to get in, the only determinant is YOU. Why should they make it cheaper and easier for non-white people to get in, simply to increase diversity? That's sheer and utter lunacy. It's illogical in every sense of the word.

Better yet maybe whites should be charged less for everything in life and let all other races pay more and we the “whites” will let them go to collage for free.
