    I saw a live stage play and at one point in the opening song, the facade of the brothel turned transparent in 3 places to show explicit sex acts going on !

  • @EmmetEarwax I would have loved to see the play of this, i love the movie, i have the movie ,and i love it ,it is a true story in texas and im not from texas and know alot about this movie, the jim neighbors narration is true to the real story , it was a brothel in la grange texas and it ran for 150 yrs thats hot man, i love it , anyhow thx for the comment on the live play rick

  • The best thing about this movie is that it is true. Google Marvin Zindler which is the true name of the consumer advocate, (Melvin P. Thorpe in the movie),He was ok with the movie and was a good sport I heard , but didn't like the "lose the toupee" scene in the water.
