Well mainly i wanna be happy and healthy and to do so i want, just like you to start eating and exercising better to help me play better football(soccer, because i love sports too besides music) and next i wanna practice a lot more guitar because its my main instrument(i play very well and for many years now but evolving is never enough :P) and to start knowing a little more drums too because i am a little noob at drums lol and i like it. Girl if you would play your own songs like get into a band!! When I play it is the most intense workout anyone could ever get. By the middle of the first tune I am pouring sweat and continue to for the next 1hr and 1/2. It says Meytal's solos!! Where are any of your solos at on here? Don't it suck playing copies? I remember it did for me playing in a local band back in like 1975. Do you ever intend on playing with musicians? Drop the gym deal and play with live players not a jambo.Life Fast

Our New Year's resolution, Meytal, is to convince you to come to Pasadena and get a FREE piercing at our studio because we all love watching your drum covers! We are only 12 minutes from downtown LA, not very far at all. :)

She is Israeli and was probably raised in the Jewish religion but what's in a name? I've known Jews with the name Smythe and Christians named Cohen.

Great drumming, I've seen a few of your cover videos and I am very impressed. So Impressed that I decided to show my 5 year old daughter your cover of "Lateralus". She was glued to the screen for all Eight and a half minutes continuously commenting on how she had no idea girls could play drums like that, let alone be playing "Tool'. Keep up the great work and technique!
OK, I had a NYR but after watching a few of your vids...well...I`m from Croatia and my new NYR is to get my ass over to America, to wherever you are and spend some time with you, have a drink, talk, get some food (chocolate is fine too :v ) I don`t care if it`s an hour, 20 mins or even 5 mins...You are flippin' gorgeous...I'm serious about this btw !
I'll say this in kinda in response to what adam-whatever said below, martial arts is a really great exercise. I've been doing it for nearly 7.5 years, and not only pretty rigourous (dunno how to spell) but also a helluva lot of fun haha
hey meytal the reason you're not going to the gym is because going to the gym is pretty boring. Maybe try martial arts like somone suggested below, or outdoor sports like mountainbiking or rollerblading?
If your really serious about your resolution what helps me is to write it on paper and hang it on my wall near my bed (decorate the paper make it look fancy!) ha ha! this way you see it first thing when you wake up!
Also, I hated stretching and working out but I did a little work out at home and did the P90X stretch dvd and it really helped my motivation. Now I'm not afraid to go to the gym...ha ha! GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR RESOLUTION!
Hi dear Meytal: this year I want to get a double bass pedal, ´cause it didn´t come with the drum kit, and I want to play like you, to complete my track. Since last year I decided to be vegetarian and to practice karate as exercise, but I don´t do it every day to let the muscles recover. This was because I wanted to forget about my last girlfriend, I also started playing guitar everyday, I´m happy that you didn´t see my covers then, they were very imperfect, hahaha :D
Well a lot of ppl fail to keep theirs..including me. So mine is simply: "Don't die." I think its good in two ways. I can only fail one way, and if I succeed, I kept my resolution and I live. Last year I was so depressed and broody I might as well have been dead. But thankfully I'm not!
1- to be more of an asshole. (people tend to take advantage of me cuz they know i keep my word no matter what. i broke this one after a day because it's difficult to be mean all the time)
2- to practice my drumming alot more outside of my band
3- to tone my stomach
4- to train in the martial arts and weapons i was taught
This is only suggestion but you might want to modify working out everyday. If you are not use to going to the gym everyday you will burn yourself out fast. Make a small goal of three times a day and slowly work yourself up to everyday. Trust me I hate it just as much but I tried that and I am in the gym for 90 minutes everyday of the week. Keep on ROCKIN'!

hey meytal the reason you're not going to the gym is because going to the gym is pretty boring. Maybe try martial arts like somone suggested below, or outdoor sports like mountainbiking or rollerblading?

If your really serious about your resolution what helps me is to write it on paper and hang it on my wall near my bed (decorate the paper make it look fancy!) ha ha! this way you see it first thing when you wake up!
Also, I hated stretching and working out but I did a little work out at home and did the P90X stretch dvd and it really helped my motivation. Now I'm not afraid to go to the gym...ha ha! GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR RESOLUTION!

Hi dear Meytal: this year I want to get a double bass pedal, ´cause it didn´t come with the drum kit, and I want to play like you, to complete my track. Since last year I decided to be vegetarian and to practice karate as exercise, but I don´t do it every day to let the muscles recover. This was because I wanted to forget about my last girlfriend, I also started playing guitar everyday, I´m happy that you didn´t see my covers then, they were very imperfect, hahaha :D

every year i make 7. I broke one after first day.
1- to be more of an asshole. (people tend to take advantage of me cuz they know i keep my word no matter what. i broke this one after a day because it's difficult to be mean all the time)
2- to practice my drumming alot more outside of my band
3- to tone my stomach
4- to train in the martial arts and weapons i was taught
5- to make more money
6- to draw and focus on getting into conventions
7-not to focus so much on settling down

This is only suggestion but you might want to modify working out everyday. If you are not use to going to the gym everyday you will burn yourself out fast. Make a small goal of three times a day and slowly work yourself up to everyday. Trust me I hate it just as much but I tried that and I am in the gym for 90 minutes everyday of the week. Keep on ROCKIN'!
