I went to seaside heights this year the day before the evacuations for hurricane irene . i didnt go on the beach because it was very expencive. 1 person was 20.00 for a adult . or 25.00 also the waves were smashing against the boardwalk . very rainy that day it was like a big storm and it took us 2 more hours then usual to get there . it was fine when we got there just cloudy and a breeze. beautiful place .

I remember going across that bridge when they had the log flume on the funtown pier and as you went over bridge at night heading into seaside park or seaside heights depending which way u went off bridge-it would flash L-O-G FLUME-LOG FLUME. Thats how my sister and I knew vacation officially began. Used to stay on Dupont Ave. Im 39 now and looking forward to going back there this summer with my husband and kids :)

@JRMguard Luna Mar Motel Seaside Park, NJ theres alot of nice places there-if you are younger and want more action or partying stay in the heights as close to boardwalk. If your going with family-the park is much more convenient and quiter. at least it was last time i was there in 2009 :) hope it helps
