I feel very lucky to have lived in the same town as Noel .I met him when I was 11 .His partner at the time was Carol Appleby. Reading the note's people write warms my heat because he was a very funny man and talented beyond words. to those of you that think he had a terrible life after The Experience................. your wrong he was loved and lived a great life in Ardfield, outside of a small town in west cork called Clonakilty. He is alway's in our hearts and forever live on. Good Luck
I stayed at the house in the summer of 1988---played some local gigs with Carol and Noel and Les Sampson and Eric Bell. One of the best few weeks of my life. Noel's mum was a sweetheart too.
Being a huge Hendrix fan I got to meet Noel after the 1987 Delaware show with Mitch. At the clubhouse reception afterwards I asked Noel to take a picture with me. Sensing I was nervous about being near such fame Noel jokingly grabbed me and said "I don't have aids or anything" and pulled me next to him. That made me laugh and someone snapped a polaroid. I still have it along with Noel & Mitch's autographs on Electric Ladyland.
He had a hard time, He was a very underrated person and just got hit with so many financial issues... It was so sad how hard that he had life, After the experience everything just seemed to go downhill.. It was so sad. N was a wonderful person and just didn't deserve anything that happened to him. He was so great.. Him and Carol were so beautiful.
Noel Reding, who along with Hendrix and Mitchell constituted the greatest rock band of all time.Sadly for us but happily for Hendrix they'll eternally jam, along with Moon and Bonham,Entwistle,Pastorius,Lennon,Mercury,Harrison,Morrison,Joplin and all the great legends we miss so much but never really left us for their legacy remains timeless and lives in our hearts and flows in the air and fills the space, universe in any possible existing dimension...God bless them all.

I love his music and I want to know more about him.
He was a great musician and a good person, but I think he was unhappy and sometimes he seemed sad... WHY ?
Please, can you tell me something about his life ?
