  • keep your hands strong! :)

  • its better to have good form than to have a higher leg WORK ON IT. just being helpfull dont take it personnaly

  • why didnt you have your ballet shoes its very important to have them

  • try to stabilize your center more, and keep your knees straight (except of course in your developes (; ) hahaha.

  • Your extentions are good. Try to keep your upper body still and don't lean forward when you grande battement derierre, also keep your supporting leg straight.

  • Ha

    Ha

    Ha

  • @ladansecmapassion yes it is bull shit

  • Your centre of gravity isn't over your toes when you do your grande battement. You wobble either backwards, forwards or to the side as a counter weight. Try to use your core much more to stabilize your movement as your leg comes up and down. Doing these with a bad technique are the bar will not help you at all for the future in the centre!!!

  • try to extend your legs fully pull up through your knees

  • dont let your hips move and try not to lean forward when you grand battement back

  • Your back ones are bad.

  • I'm sorry but it's really bad

    ...

  • its not all about how high ur legs can go up to. dont move your hips when ur in a la seconde.

  • this is nobodies ballet, by no definition or standard.

  • keep ur back up and remember to use the floor and BRUSH ur foot on the floor ur doing great!

  • dont bend your legs so much

  • pretty good fleibitlity but not do good tecnique

  • you are not that good im really sorry

  • when you are going to the side you hpit is going up. When you go to the back your bending you back forward. you also bending you kneewen you og to the back. you need to ork on it

  • be really careful. your leaning en fasse and a la second

  • make sure also you dont arch your back to much that can cause problems later on

  • You are really strong. :) Just focus on technique, rather than flexibility.

  • leg thats going up should go in front of ur arm

  • Ur doing great 0:28 just try to keep ur back up. U got a good start though.

  • you NEED to work on it.

  • thats great.

    just one things.

your supporting leg is always bent.

  • Hmm please tie your hair ;) It is disturbing when you dance. Don´t you have the *dress code* at your ballet school? Not criticising, just asking :P

  • you bend your knee in battement en arriere

  • i agree with everyone else, make sure you dont move your hips! if it helps, especially on the side, bring your legs down a tiny bit, that way you aren't as tempted to lift your hip

  • i don't what you doing in this video :S

your hips move when you through your leg up, your hips want don't moving Ok?

practice more, and yes, is a grand battement or a developpe? ;OO

  • ur hips are not alind for r.a.d requirements to alasecond ur hip should be down but everything else looked ok

  • knee bents..hips moving..

    pls use ur abdominal muscle!!

  • i think yur pretty good except when u go to the back yur leaning way forward, and bending yur leg

  • stretch your legs more.

  • Haha, RAD syllabus?

  • watch your hips there moving alot!

    point your toes

    use your center!!

  • pleasepleaseplease use your abs before you injure your lower back. it'll also help with all those other tips that people have been giving you.

  • you dont hear the music :S

  • btw: u r really off the music

  • what r u wearing????

  • I agree with everybody else.. and I'd like to add that you need to get yourself a pair of shoes. Quite apart from looking sloppy and unprofessional, you can seriously hurt yourself turning even a simple soutenue without shoes.

You have a nice body and I can tell you're dedicated. Keep working at it.. just remember.. it takes a long time to perfect things, even if somebody is naturally talented.

  • this is good, but when you do your arabesque remember that your back isn't supposed to pump back and forth, try to keep it in the same position it was in when you started.

otherwise, good job, you could go far.

  • listen to the musiccccccc honey

  • yes good but, don't take your hip to all positions!

  • when you go to the side, drop the hip. you'll go so much higher. and to the back, do not lean forward to get your leg higher. other than that those were good! i'm not any better. lovely developpe!

  • this was good, youve got great turnout.. far better than mine :(

try and keep your supporting leg straighter..

  • Straight your knees, keep your balance as if you were not dancing at the barre (useful suggestion), don't move your back so much and... where are your hips going? everywhere, keep attention.

  • You look very tall!

  • te falto ir a tiempo, pero tenes buena elongacion!

  • Nice developpe

  • Do you have to be skinny to do ballet cuz im 5'5 and i weigh 154(im kinda big) but i was in the hospital so i gained weight but im gonna lose it.

  • you don't have to be skinny to do ballet. plus, if you do it alot, it makes you skinny naturally. good luck!

  • When you do a Grand Battement to the back, only lean forward when your leg gets 90 degrees or higher.

  • okay well you lift your hip up and you over cross your fifth other wise you were good! just need to work on those things!☺☻♥♥♥

  • shes not that good

  • o mio dioo...è orrenda..mentre fa un gran battement muove tutti i fianchi..non sale con la schiena..vbè lasciamo perdere troppe cose ci sono che non vanno bene..BLèèè

  • yes squre the hips even for this grade

  • first of all, where is your proper attire?

Second, your hips are all out of alignment.

your shoulders should be pushed down, and your back is way dropped when you battement derrière. your knee is also bent to the back.

  • nice...very flexible

  • don't lift your hip up. it will make your technique suck, its hard to stop doing it

  • anchor your hip, dont lean outwards when lifting your legs. tendu out of your lift and when youu do, roll through your foot instead of just pointing your foot on the floor and closing. if youu wear shoes, it will make your brushing easier. i find canvas more comfortable. keep your supporting leg straight, not bent. when youu arabesque, try not to lean forward so much and keep your head straight. keep up the work.! you'll get it.!

  • dont bend ur supporting legs

  • that's right

  • Good effort. Apart from the placement of your hips, your supporting leg is very bent as you execute the grand battement. Your working leg should also be completely straight.

  • ur hips are all over the place....ur not a hula dancer for god's sake!

  • pretty good, but remember to keep your hips square to the front.. you're rotating them and carrying them with you when you bring up your leg. if you get more in control of your power to raise it, your hips won't move with it.

  • i think your good but just try to keep the supporting leg (the one on the floor) straight, i noticed you bending your knees

  • You need to pint your toes and keep your hand straightened. Do you realy dance at the Royal Ballet Academy?

  • she is cool! it's royal academy of dance, is'n it? Advanced foundation? =)

  • hey good but u have to study still...i hope u'll be better than before...when i make battement my legs arrive on my face hahahah XDXD

  • when you do it to the back, make sure you keep your back straight up, and try not to move it =]

  • i thing she's right! where did you start from? ZERO like all of us. girl, just try to move your hips less. keep it stable and free and that will help you to do the excersise better, and your turn out will be improved, don't forgetto take your impulse from the sole and NEVER from the hip

  • you guys, there is no need to be rude. yes she has mistakes, but you can help out, instead of bitch at her.

  • so much better than me, >.< I can't even bring my leg up to 45 or 90' degrees and that was always my goal. Love your videos you made, your great in them, don't let anybody tell you different :)

  • haha das sooo shit u need 2 tense up a lil bit n ur not lifitin ur leg ur frowin it up! ur all bent eww is a discrace!!

  • Getting there! Be carefull not to lead with your hips. Cause you have the flexibility, it's just a matter of getting the strenght in your leg instead of your hips flexers and extensers. Make sure to brush into the floor with your heel!

(And I think it's a pretty good idea (and a really courageous one) to put your video here. Between dancer, we can help each other!)

  • HayleyDancer4598,hey did any1 says u're a bitch?saying her like tis!!!she's trying to help herself to be better!!!anyway to you in that video, i think u did really well but there's something tat u can take some tips or advise from me as i'm a teacher and aslo a student. well..overall was awesome but dun 4get to pull up and straighten your legs for everything u do.your body is moving and you're sitting pretty much

  • try to strech your foot a bit more, but it's definetly not bad!

  • Try not to move your body so much, and RAISE your leg, don't THROW it, and stretch it. Just practice a lot and you will see how better can get.

  • you look like you're leaning back a little, but it also depends on how flexible in the hips you are. I love ballet! almost on pointe!

  • Your leg needs to be more controlled when you go into second, but other than that, it looks fine.

  • they're allowed to, its not exactly a fault to lean back on a devant grand battement

  • U look like you are leaning back slightly on your first battement
