Turco is still a fantastic goalie. Look at Belfour. Brodeur. Kiprusoff. Thomas. Luongo. All goalies that the league will remember for many many years but they just sometimes make mistakes. All of them have.

Hate to see Turco in a BH jersey, but he is still a good goalie. Goalies that play his style are the reason why the trap system was placed. Plus this happens every now and then. High risk with high reward. The breakaways and odd man rushes he has caused far outnumber the goals he has given up.

@jthdvs55 I'm from Chicago and I agree. He's great. This team we have just wasn't designed for him. It's sad. We could have had a great veteran but, that's nothing new here. Marty is one of the last of my generation of goalies. He just like I looked up to one of the greats Ed Belfour. Belfour was the best goalie we in Chicago will ever have had. Also have any forward try to shoot good with a goalie stick. That's a joke to watch.

the funny thing, is you would think we do have the team built from him. A team of speed that can change direction and catch teams on changes and lead to quick break aways. Can't blame the team for attempting that method, I think they should have held on to him one more year and worked with him. Would have worked a hell of a lot better than Crawford.

@DiffractingThought True -- Marty just shouldn't have done that against Dallas because the entire team knew he uses that airborne pass when he's that far out of the net. He looks like a genius when it goes well and a lunatic when it doesn't. Really miss him -- Raycroft has been a good #2 to Kari, but still wish Turco had ended up in our backup slot and was going to retire in a Stars uniform.
