It's absolutely glorious here. Across the street we have a out of business gas station. On the other side of the street is a defunct hair dresser. Right behind us is our own low income loony and old people JFK apartments, the wonderful green street foxes and the highway.......GLORIOUS! Lol

I road my bike from Cumberland to DC on the C&O Canal. Man was that a pain in the ass lol. But Cumberland use to be big for rum runners and beer barons back in the old days. They built the highway right over top of it so usually people don't see what it's like. It has character, but like a lot of towns it is more functionally designed than aesthetically designed. It sure beats Huntington, WV. And Sheetz makes it a lot better also! just don't get gas there, it's watered down.

Cumberland is not full of drugs and whores. It has part that are bad, but some parts are beautiful and nice. Like western Cumberland and LaVale. Downtown is nice too.
