If it really works, I'm all for it. But I looked into those Mieles. You're talking about a $700+ vaccuum. That's a lot for us average joes to take a risk on. Someone else posted a video about their Miele complaining about the fabric on the front of the head making it difficult to vaccuum over carpet.
@PBottomPoochies Yes, I have watched this video. Please note he is using a floor brush on capreting, not a powerhead. You can purcahse a Miele Delphi with a HEPA filter for about $550 at Govacuum dot com.
I was in doubt wether spending twice the amount for a vacuum cleaner that looks just as efficient as other brands advertising HEPA filtration might be justified at all.
After having watched the readings of your airborne particle scanner test, I now just have to accept that Miele appears to be the Mercedes of German household vacuum cleaners - both in price and performance. This might read as an ad, but so does your video :-)
@ReinerSaddey HAHA, well the meter is the proof and I can put it up against any other machines we sell for comparison that you are interested in if you would like, but yeah. EN1822 is flat out the only way to go if you have allergies.
@LordLab IQAir is the only EN1822 certified, but the Austin Air drops our meter very low! HM200 model is very reasonably priced. Search it on our website at GoVacuum dot com
