Bertha 1 (1996) was WAY better.

10-12' sets, pure glass, super light off-shores all day.

Bertha 2 was nice though... but still; no comparison. Wish I could find some video on it.

Those are some great waves for the Inlet! I lived in Wilber in the 1970's and surfed there often. Only time I remember any swell like that was when Andrew went up the coast.

Ya,for sure.The last time the Inlet was this good was in 1995 or 1996.Hurricane Felix did a zig zag across the state.More to come hopefully.
