  • new subscriber here, I love your whats in the bag videos!

  • I would have used a little Loctite on those screws.

  • how much is all in that bag cost?

  • sounds to me he doesn't like his mark iii send it to me with that 24-105mm i will take care of it :))

  • Real photographer who sacrifices. Learns to fix things, and gets the best from minimal cost. Knows what is suitable, not good/bad. Nice!

  • good luck getting on a plane with all that now and days haha

  • 28-105 Not my fav lens(everyone heard it)...I'll leave my details mate, u can send that to me, will consider as bday present :)

  • i have the 24-105mm by canon. and love it!

  • Very useful tips!

You are born to entertain the public ( in a good way ) :)

    Keep up the nice videos!

PS: is really the 24-105 so close to the 28-300 as an end result ?!

  • @Logoblinkdotcom

His main aim is to get pictures of full lengths, mid shots (waist to top of the head) head and shoulders shots, and close-ups.

So what he can get with both lenses is full lengths, mid shots, and probably head and shoulders - and he's able to use the flash. Problem with the 28-300mm, it's a varied aperture of f3.5-5.6, so using it at 300mm at f5.6 isn't great in low-light, nor is f4 but he's still able to use the flash at 105. He'll switch to the 70-200 at f2.8 for the ambient

  • Also as he states 28mm isn't wide enough sometimes for full length shots, were as the 24mm is.

  • whill u remake the video with ur new setup

  • Thanks for all the great tips.

  • thanks for the tip on the off-camera shoe screws coming loose - I've gone thru a ton of these cables.... maybe i can revive some of the old ones now!

  • Regarding the dummy-battery to prevent the flash from drawing power from the AA's and the external pack... there is a custom function in the flash that you can set so the flash only draws power from the external pack to recycle the main capacitor.

  • Solution to screw problem - red loctite.

  • 70-200 is the non-is right?

  • 9out of 10 that is IS. :)

  • Cheers, very interesting Frazer!! from a fellow Brit over here in not so sunny Burton On Trent, UK! :-) do you live in the US now?? or commute? Cheers. Fletch.

  • all L lens, i wish i have atleast 1:(

  • i thought the same thing :)

  • @raffy3d get a EF70-200MM USM nonIS, arround 600$/500€/370GBP, easy to effeort and the pictures are just brilliant...

  • lol banshee

  • you could try loctite on those screws.

  • Do you have the 24-70 or the 24-105? I don't understeand you...

  • he has both.

  • have both as carpets varie sometimes they are so small a 24- 70 is perfect other times I need the zoom to get in for those head shots.
