I really like the Street Dogs. I saw DKM live in Pittsburgh in 1997 or 98 with Mike singing and it was awesome but I have to say that Al Barr is no freakin slouch and should be given props for singing many of DKM's best songs.

its like when people pronounce c sounds as a pure s where it could be more of a sh. for example.. when people say apresiate rather than apreSHeate (apreciate being the word) it gives me the shits. it sounds so gay.. another example would be Negotiate, theres no way you can get an S from that, at best an SH with the tia combo, yet some pricks still worked it into something like "negosiate".. ofcourse its way different in this case being the word it is, letters involved etc... but same idea

Brother Walfrid is the man who formed Glasgow Celtic football club (in Scotland in 1888) most Brits didn't want to pronounce it in the Irish way (Keltic) they adopted the 'S' sound to it. Which is probarbly why Boston Celtics are named after. The football team was set up for Irish immigrants in Scotland, so maybe Boston was paying some tribute to that idea.

Its pronounced Seltic ONLY when refering to these sports teams. EVERYTHING else regarding the people, language, culture is pronounced Keltic

To me, he's sound isn't better than the Dropkick Murphys... IT IS the Dropkick Murphy sound. DKM was SO much better with Mike. They did descent with Al for a few albums.. but now it feels like frat boy pop crap. The Street Dogs are way better than DKM (now-a-days), they actually sing about real issues and problems. This, my friends, is the true meaning of street punk.
