You just drill holes in the rail, and then you put screws through the holes. And then you screw the rail into the wood :D

With normal use, that is if you don't do too excessive tricks, these rails will last for a long time :D hmm you don't want to land too hard on it, or the plastic pipe might break. Easy to replace though ^^

Whaha good question :D

Well this is based on own experience:

Normal grind tricks like AO Soul, Makio, topsides etc. are fine, the pipe can take that.

But I once tried to 180 over the p-rail, but I failed since I smashed my left skate on the rail. And then the pipe cracked.

But it will definitely hold up with grinding, as long as you don't do things like 540's over it. They're not made for that purpose.

That big piece of wood is the most expensive part of the p-rail, and that's about 8$ or so. Pipe was about 7$, L profiles maybe 5$ alltogether. Then you need some screws and such bla bla..

I only build this p-rail since they don't sell rails in my country, even skate shops are hard to find here. You might wanna go for the rail in the store since that's probably a better one than any p-rail :P however, p-rail was fun to make PLUS it's cheaper to fix any damaged parts :D

2 m long pipe, 32 mm in diameter

3 m wood, 2,5 cm thick

Cut that wood to 2 m, and make three support blocks of the leftover.

6 x L profile and there u go =D
