He states "If people are going through problems, we also want to lift their spirits." Now to what "spirits" is Mr Mehta referring too? The spirits we CAN scientifically test in the lab or the spirits that we CAN'T scientifically test in the lab? Definitions of science are blatantly self-serving and contradictory.

I thought the reason I care about this is obvious. While I don't believe God is real, I do defend others' right to believe in one and I strongly disagree with the idea that their beliefs are in any way scientific. That threat -- to redefine science -- does exist and it needs to be combatted.
Then if it reffers to the I.D. community, i suggest you read some of their arguments against evolution instead of turning a blind eye everytime they pressent scientific a fact. Dr. Meyer does a great job in his new book "Signature in the Cell." But let me guess, he's not a real scientist doing real science. Scientists are well aware of the ID arguments, including those from Behe. They have been discredited repeatedly. Many books have been written about how wrong the ID people are and why.
Gonzalez? Weak argument. Go Google "ExpelledExposed" and his name and you'll see why he's a poor example to use.
And, yes, Meyer is as much a scientist as Behe -- relying on the argument that if something is complex, a designer must be involved. It's pathetic.

Ok, let me ask you this about evolution. The sequence of amino acids needed to make the most basic life is 250 amino acids lined up perfectly. This is like having a hundred of those gambling machines (I forget what they're called) and winning every single time. The chances are so low that it is considered by mathmaticians to be impossible. So how can life just randomly come about? It can't, it requires a designer, but I won't say who the designer is, that's for you to figure out.

The odds of it happening at all are slim, but to have all that happen and then to have sentient life? Life can't evolve on its own. As science progresses, more and more experiments will prove that life has to have a designer and then the quest will begin for who that designer is. That is not the case. If a theory can be backed by evidence, and be tested, observed, etc, then it would be worth backing. ID though cannot be backed up. As much as creationists claim it is a matter of interpreting the evidence, it really isn't so. Most of that evidence is pretty self explanatory.

It does not literally say its like 6000 years. But when you have to count the generation from Adam until now. You might get 6 or 7 thousand years. Well the bible is true. You cant just put your words in your mouth if you dont really think its true. You got to study the bible or any books. You representing utterance. But you need to back it up if your words were true or not.
just go out at night and look up in the stars, we know the earth is more then 7000 years old. One of the closes galaxy is like 168,000 light years away. That means it take 168,000 years for the light to get here so we can see it. The bible is not the only book there to read, go to a library head over to the science section. Get yourself educated.

Notice I am not going after fundamentalists -- merely those fundamentalists who claim their beliefs are in the domain of proper science. I thought the reason I care about this is obvious. While I don't believe God is real, I do defend others' right to believe in one and I strongly disagree with the idea that their beliefs are in any way scientific. That threat -- to redefine science -- does exist and it needs to be combatted.

Scientists are well aware of the ID arguments, including those from Behe. They have been discredited repeatedly. Many books have been written about how wrong the ID people are and why.
Gonzalez? Weak argument. Go Google "ExpelledExposed" and his name and you'll see why he's a poor example to use.
And, yes, Meyer is as much a scientist as Behe -- relying on the argument that if something is complex, a designer must be involved. It's pathetic.

I've been to that site (expelledexposed). It's just another spin on what happened, there's always 3 sides to a story. Many books have been written in support of I.D, so what exactly is your point? The scientists on your side of the argument are more worthy of scientific credibility. I thought science was the search for answers and knowledge, no matter where that might lead. Life can't evolve on its own. As science progresses, more and more experiments will prove that life has to have a designer and then the quest will begin for who that designer is. Sentient life cannot form from inanimate objects. Neither can small bacteria evolve from elements floating in the air. Yes, we're made from them, but so was the WTC, does that mean it evolved? No, it required skilled labor that designed it.

That is not the case. If a theory can be backed by evidence, and be tested, observed, etc, then it would be worth backing. ID though cannot be backed up. As much as creationists claim it is a matter of interpreting the evidence, it really isn't so. Most of that evidence is pretty self explanatory.

That's so idiotic. Most religions say believe us or got to hell for eternity. Which is right? Your were raised as whatever religion you are and that is why you believe it. Some islamic guy who was raised muslim believes just as much as you and says non-believers will go to hell. SO why is yours right and his is wrong?
Science tries to find the answers. We know more now than 100 years ago. We'll know more in 100 years. We never claim to know what we dont.
Religion just invents answers.

There are scientists from Ivy League schoools with PHD's in biology, chemistry, physics, etc...who don't believe in evolution. The panic of certain people over this privately funded museum is incredible, and shows how much science tries to censor information that doesn't agree with it's evolutionary model.

This is not about evolution!!! It's about science. Lets say evolution is wrong and it's been disproved. You still need to prove scienctiecly that creation is right. Creation can not even hold up as a Hypothesis. I am not saying one should not believe in creation, (believe in what ever you like), just dont say creation is science. Even Ivy league schools with PHD,s dont believe in evolution dont prove creation is right.

ok God made science man discovers God through science. the laws of chemistry ,maths and physics ect don't they prove there is a creator of design -how could so complicated universes exist in the physical'chemical/biological, geographical,astronomical and every other branch of science

No, chemistry, maths, biology, and physics, none points there was a creator. There are samething chemistry,biology, physics that we still dont know yet and that dos not mean a creator did it. As of now intelligent design can not even hold up as a Hypothesis.

But when you agree such evolutionary theory your in with it. No, creation is the beginning. That surpasses Mehta for being naive on his statements. Then the argument is not on evolution or creation. Lets put the scientific facts not like this guy who thinks know anything.

Delightful how Hemant Mehta says the museum is full if lies when he states no evidence for evolution and also he states no lies in the museum. Read AiG's feedback on their site and you will know Hemant Mehta is storytelling when he says AiG is anti-science.

It states in the bible. But for like this guy Mehta human being existed around long time ago then stops in 10,000 or hundred something. But this is not science its a wishful thing that during time blah blah. When theres NO evidence watsoever. The only evidence is the remain fossils of such species! Mehta, I could shattered his own foundation for saying such biased words!

It does not literally say its like 6000 years. But when you have to count the generation from Adam until now. You might get 6 or 7 thousand years. Well the bible is true. You cant just put your words in your mouth if you dont really think its true. You got to study the bible or any books. You representing utterance. But you need to back it up if your words were true or not.

just go out at night and look up in the stars, we know the earth is more then 7000 years old. One of the closes galaxy is like 168,000 light years away. That means it take 168,000 years for the light to get here so we can see it. The bible is not the only book there to read, go to a library head over to the science section. Get yourself educated.
