  • Jeremy Lin at 11:51

  • Gonna miss Yao on the court. When a big man like him starts having foot problems late in his career, it's time to hang it up. Glad he came to his senses and retired. Still doesn't take away the fact that he was one of the better centers in recent memory.

  • LOL when he sayed five in 1:48

  • I ran this man in the streets of Boston's Chinatown. He just reached up and touched a stop sign and was like, "no big deal."

  • this video makes you appreciate the yao's amazing soft hands for a big man

  • @xnirvanafc Pause..

  • shouldve stuck to soccer...

  • Look at the difference in the smoothness and technique of their shots. Yao clearly knows what he's doing while Thabeet doesn't look very comfortable. Yao was probably even more raw than Thabeet was when he first came into the league, but a tremendous work ethic and self-belief made him one of the best centers in the game when he played. If Thabeet works as hard as Yao did, I think he can be a pretty solid center.

  • machoko kibao hapa, kazi kuyasema ya wezenu kwutu sisi hasheem shujaaaaaa

  • It's amazing that he managed to be a 2nd pick in the draft when he doesn't know how to properly do a hook shot.

  • TRAVEL

  • hasheem hook is ugly

  • 5 never went in but the guy counted it

  • if thabeet wasn't that tall, now he would sell apples in the market

  • judging by his kick of the ball at @4:23 he should have pursued soccer instead

  • damn thabeet sucks

  • All those years at UConn and no teaching of a basic hook...Classic America

  • Now that Yao helped him with his hook shots now all he has to do Is go to Hakeem Olajuwon to learn some post moves

  • @xdivision100 hahaha he could always go back in time to learn from kareem about the sky hook!! :)

  • this is a sick video

  • the thing i like about hasheem is that he is kind of durible, he has a solid 7'3 frame and he's built to work. he'll never be a star, but he will be a good center. like when he does the layups, he actually brings up his knee, he's flexible and he can run

  • poop

  • He need to learn to shot at post moves by his fingers not to extend the hand

  • @ThePlaynoevil agree. and he also needs to flex his wrist

  • why he always make 3 steps?

  • lmfao @ thabet missing

  • yaos getting tired from rebounding all thabeets shots

  • yaos getting tired from rebound all thabeets shots

  • Thabeet didn't seem that awkward at Uconn.

  • lmfao 2:05 yao goes into china man mode. gotta live asians there so nice lol

  • @xblackjezusx lmfao

  • He travels a lot, 3 or 4 steps in each spin

  • now that yao has retired he could remain on the coaching staff working with the big man

  • lol thabeet doesn't look that tall next to yao, he's 7'3

  • yao's strokes are beautiful...

  • k u guys have to chill out on hasheem. this was either during or before he was put into d league and now im pretty sure hes learned to use his right much better, it may have though been a mistake drafting him first round but hes still a good man to have down low grabbing rebounds and blocking shots

  • @TLNINJA997 lol this is after he was put into d-league.. he was in d-league his rookie year.

  • @r0ck3ts11 ya i kno right when i pressed send im just like *waiiit a sec...* lol

  • Thabeet travels every single fucking time. LMAO.

  • lol thabust sucks. Dude is a standing beanpole who can only stand and look tall without being good.

  • this dude is trash...you f*cking suck ass thabeet.

  • I think if he could learn to body and defend an NBA center he could actually get some PT. You don't really have to be a great scorer to be an effective center, just play your man, rebound, and help. He is definitely a great shot blocker, just has to learn to put it all together all the time. His skilled game may always be sloppy.

  • he got good handles for 7'3 bigman.

  • travel

  • everytime travels

  • Yao got exhausted for picking up all the miss balls from Thabeet.

  • Hasheem missed 3 in a row AHAHAHAHHA he sucks! then yao missed 2 in a row!?!? WTF

  • Hasheem missed 3 in a row AHAHAHAHHA he sucks!

  • @lebronnumber6 so did Yao...big deal...it's practice

  • wow hasheem is really bad with his right hand

  • Wow, Thabeet's form on that jump hook is terrible. He played college in the US, how can not be the first, and I literally mean, FIRST move he was taught to master?

  • @ijustwannawatchshite

What you just saw WAS how he looks after mastering it.... So you could just imagine he he looked before.

  • @ijustwannawatchshite

If he absorbed all of Yao's skill he could probably have a stat line like 18pt 14rb and 3bs, but yea, it is surprising that he can be a 1st round pick when he doesn't have fundamental skills like doing a hook shot.
