HERE'S A HUGE SPOILER. Blackmore is actually just a one of the multiple personalitys that Torque has Blackmore in this case is his evil personality you fight another personality on the first one which is your inner anger personality so people we might have another Suffering on the way. Also on the last level if you look on Blackmore's desk there will be "random papers" if you look at the papers you can see Blackmore's face on one side of Torques face meaning Blackmore is Torque.

I loved 'The Suffering' and couldn't wait for this to come out but despite it having some new kick-ass creatures to fight, the ending was really disappointing. SPOILERS AHEAD. The first game has 3 endings Good (didn't kill family), Neutral (never got this ending) and Bad (did kill family). When you start the sequel you get the choice of starting how you ended the first game (Good in my case) but at the end you find you killed your family anyway so it seems pretty damn pointless.
