@7plymaple this car was designed for busy professionals who live in the city. If you can't figure out why anyone would want 57 cubic feet of room in a sub-compact then I don't know what to tell you. Also, the looks may be polarizing, but a lot of people really dig the unique look of the Fit. I am biased of course because I own one, but seriously, there are so many civics and accords out there and I don't want to be just another person with the same car as everyone else.
ya i've got that same choice honda civic 4dr i cant get it in red unless i get a si and thats to much but a honda fit i can get in red :D so i dont know yet lol
Honda has an entire division specifically for this. They test ways to reduce bodily injuries in case you do strike a pedestrian. The reason they have this division is because this has become a big problem in Japan.

i love my 2010 honda fit sport. i do about 37 to 39 mpg highway. i have the 5 speed automatic with nifty paddle shifters that rock!!!

Comparing base models...Fit is $1000 cheaper.
You didn't want air conditioning or power windows and locks with your Civic anyways...right?
All passenger room dimensions are within an inch of each other. With the Fit beating the Civic in some of them..including headroom.
Luggage capacity for Civic trunk is 12cu.ft.
Luggage for Fit is over 20 cu.ft with seats up and 57 cu.ft. w/seats down!
Civic has 23 more hp but also weighs about 140lbs. more..like carrying an extra person around with you.
